Did we ever get to learn what Petruccio's secret was from the beginning of the game?
During the assassination of Marco Barbaringo in my second playthrough I came across something I don't think anyone else has. Because Eagle's Bruise means no hidden blade (and to be more challenging, no fleeing from battle) I knocked out everyone on the boat and then proceeded to knock out the remaining guards at the party (this is where I was attacked by the menacing brute violinist, red). After finishing the dirty work I proceeded to exit the way I came in.
when you start the assassination mission for marco barabrigo, teodora explains that you cant reach the boat without being spotted, and that a better way would be to shoot marco in time with the explosions so that you remain undetected. i suspect this is a lie from ubi. we already know that you can easily swim to the boat:

Altair's Chronicles | 1190 A.D
Altair, a young but experienced assassin returns home to his city from some work. He finds it under attack by Templars. In order to stop the attack, he fights back using his skills and in doing so kills a low-ranking officer of the Templar army. Al Mualim, his master, gives him the task of finding a very important object named the Chalice. It is able to unite all nations in favor of a single master, and must not fall into the hands of the enemy: thus it must be destroyed.
Throughout his investigation and adventures, Altair discovers that the Chalice is not an object, indeed it is a woman who he has an interest in: Adha. The Templars capture her, and put her on a ship. Altair fights his way to the ship and kills the Templar leader, Basilisk. However, Adha turns out to be on a different ship, and Altair vows to find her, no matter what it takes.
The first time Altair has seen the ferocity of the Templars, and the reason for having a Personal Vendetta against them in Assassin's Creed
This is a place to put all your stupid moments unto the eyes of the other people.
One that I remember was having equipped my Wallet and throwing money off a roof to some peasants below.
Suddenly, a bold and delirious archer is like: "GET DOWN! ORA!" or whatever the last part is. At least he didn't call me a stronzo. Anyhoo, I'm the type of guy that doesn't like to lock on to people in video-games unless absolutely necessary. So I always make the first strike unlocked.
In my second playthrough I started to pay closer attention to the timeline. Memory sequence 14 takes place in 1499, but if you remember the words of Machiavelli in "X marks the spot", he says that there are lands yet to be discovered. Now I instantly thought that this was rather conflictive because Cristopher Columbus "discovered" America in October of 1492 and then arriving in March of 1493.
Edit: I guess I was wrong because he could also be referring to Australia. Also, the europeans didn't came to realize that America was another continent until 1502.
When information for AC2 was just coming out, and a gameplay trailer showed a plague doctor for the first time, I was already suspecting that the plague would tie into the story. Then, I learned that there was a piece on the soundtrack called, "The Plague". To top it all off, I saw this image: http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/article/102/1027990/assassins-creed-ii... which strongly hints at the plague.
Then, I finished the game yesterday, and VOILA, no plague even mentioned. What happened, Ubi? Was something else cut?
(Also on the AC-maps forums)
So this is it, I've finally finished my first playthrough (blew me away, by the way) and I can finally get started on the Household Weapons playthrough.
Some basic rules:
Weapons: Broom, Fishing rod, Farmer's Hoe, Violin (during carnival), and if none of these is available, fists w/ cestus(only when previously mentioned weapons are completely unavailable)
Welcome one and welcome all to Assassins Creed II: Eagle's Bruise! The game is simple, your only weapons are your limbs.
Back in August I decided to try beating Assassins Creed without any weapons, and to my surprise, it actually worked. And I loved it so much, I thought that I'd do it again. So here we go, new character, new fight system, new game.
For those who haven't seen the original Eagle's Bruise on ac-maps, here's basically what the old combat system consisted of:
Part 1: Speed
Firstly, it is the greatest game ever!
Secondly, Sean is by far my favourite character, half of what he says cracks me up.

.What is Abstergo doing with the multiple animuses?
.Animus 2.0 looks comfortable but I feel nostalgia for the old one.
.It's a mi, mario!
.The villa reminds me a lot of the manor from the Tomb Raider series, a nice place to chill and mess around.
.Despite what I said before, on my first playthrough i'm still trying to do all viewpoints, seals and codex pages.
