I got something to rant about....

Leo hit 500 youtube subscribers, and posted a video asking for questions 3 days ago AMA style. And still hasn't answered my questions! sheesh.

That's really difficult, but I would pick Ashraf because it's more reasonable. He's actually there, actually employed by Ubi, and he's made Assassin's Creed recently. Patrice hasn't been involved with the series for years.

Forty something friends were tagged in those photos. Luckily I was online at the time and got messaged by two people (and a little later another friend actually called me). The only other thing the hacker appeared to have done was accept my friend requests, how nice.

Guess I should be thankful it wasn't worse than that. I can think of some more questionable things they could have posted.

So I had to write up a timeline of my senior thesis progress and I realized how much work I put on myself. In order to catch the attention of everyone passing by, I decided to not only make regular illustrations, but also create my own business cards, make fake movie/game posters, a video game cover (front and back), postcard designs, clothing design graphics, a step-by-step map of my artistic method, and several videos primarily of speed drawings. This is on top of another class where we HAVE to create a group project for a real client for the same senior thesis event. That requires the same type of work I'd be doing along with two other courses that I need in order to reach the required credits to graduate.

I'll probably focus the most on 10 total illustrations (including the art map, speed drawings, and posters) and get to the rest if I actually have that time.

Part of me is actually scared that I won't be able to get it all done or my focus will fail halfway through the semester. These final courses are meant to give you more of an "employee" feeling, so the pressure is definitely there to be more serious than before about it. I'm pretty sure I can cross the streams and use some work from the other courses in my own presentation, which might make it easier on me. I just don't want to do that TOO much and seem unoriginal or even lazy.

It'll probably be fine, I know. I'm sure this is coming from me not being in a spot I want to be in in life (like still being in school and little things like that). I'm just really looking forward to having more time for work and finally building a career. Being flooded with intense all-night long projects almost every night keeps me from doing things like working full time, exercising with energy, affording actual food, even dating. I've lost count how many women I've unintentionally pushed away the last couple of years because I had so much stuff to get done on a deadline. Last semester, I went an entire month (October to November) without seeing my roommates for more than a "Going to class, I'll see ya later" moment.

I can't wait until that isn't a problem. I can't wait until I go to work and don't have to do it every single night once I clock out (that'll happen, but most likely not as often). It's tiring to think about the possible final semester coming up. Ugh

College sounds like it really sucks. Thankfully I have a pretty good job for only having a high school diploma.

At least you're doing what you love, Joey. Sometimes you get too much of a good thing. After you graduate, my hope is that you start a career as an artist and get to do that all day (but not all night).

If this semester goes well, I'll have a good start to things after graduation. I was given the chance to head an augmented reality app with a few other students. I'm in charge of the creative direction (with the client we're working for) and basically being the boss. I even had to schedule everyone for the entire semester, which was painful, and research what resources we need to complete it on time. I actually already know the client, so that will make things go smoothly.

The best part is, I've been hoping to get a job that would land me in a creative control position. This is a big step towards that. I'll actually get manager experience on many levels and have my name attached to the app. A couple of people in this group seem to forget that they have phones that we're required to use for a messenger app (called "Slack").

Last Thursday, I gave them a little rundown of the plan of attack for this week and I get a message yesterday asking what the plan was. I just wanted to say, "Look back 2 messages", but I'm trying to avoid my smartass attitude.

But anyways, hopefully this becomes a positive addition to my portfolio.

Currently have a problem on the PS4 that hopefully someone knows what's causing it. Ever since February (think right after a system update) I've hardly been able to get on an online game. The wait time to get into a lobby takes a lot longer than it should, and then I get an error message. Blamed it on bad connection until finally got better connection, but it's still happening.

Now you might be thinking it's a problem with the game server, but I don't think so. Here's why. Another thing that's been happening is the inability to get into regular PS4 party chat, which has never happened before, not even with really bad internet.

The only time it worked fine was on Saturday May 5th. When starting up the PS4 I was asked to update my privacy settings. After that everything was fine again. Until I went on the day after.

Looked on Youtube for a solution and tried a few things, to no avail. As far as I know this isn't a common problem, so if anyone has any idea of the root of the problem, please speak.

Have you tried contacting the Sony helpdesk?

Hope it doesn't have to come to that; not a phone person. For now I'll ask around, and if there's no solution I'll probably let my PS+ expire in June and stick to single player, of which there is a single player challenges update in two days.

Went on the PS4 yesterday and today without the usual problems. Here's to hoping it's finally over.

for some reason, when i start my computer, it takes like a minute or two before it actually boots up.
the text A2 shows up in the bottom right before the start screen.

i have no idea what caused this. one day it was working fine, the next it's doing this shit.

My life has been seeming to go up in quality for the past couple of weeks. I've felt more confident with my job responsibilities, I developed a workout plan to get back into shape, even buying healthier food, and becoming a more stable and organized adult overall.

Then my mom called me Monday morning. My dad passed away. I'm having a hard time handling it because I'm honestly not entirely sure HOW to handle it. I've been to funerals and other services of family members, but none of them had been involved in my life so long or in such a big way. I randomly break for a few moments before pulling myself back together. I don't want to show that side for some reason, even though I'm sure I need to.

It destroyed me when the funeral manager (whatever his job title is) handed back to my mother his wedding band. The realization that they pulled that off of his body is what's fucking me up. It made it real for me, the image of them doing that to him.

The only thing bringing me any bit of comfort is that apparently he had felt something coming a night or so before and he told my mom, if it was the end at that point, "I wasn't afraid". That tells me that he felt content with where he was in life and what he was leaving behind; that he was proud of us and himself. I just wish I got to say I loved him. I don't remember the last time I actually said it to him without grouping it with mom in a casual "Love you guys" over the phone.

I'm trying to keep up on here for you guys, but I hope you understand if I'm quiet for a while. I just don't know what to do with myself.

We've got your back however we can, Joe. This is rough news for anyone to receive, but we've known each other a while and I totally understand taking some time off from mod stuff. Feel what you need to feel, don't think you have to be any one way or another. I'm here.

I can't imagine what you're going through. Just remember that you are under no obligation to "pull yourself together." It's okay to be upset. It's okay to be angry. It's okay to show emotion. And it's okay to seek help if you can't do it all yourself.

It seems that Youtube has removed all annotations. I remember when it was announced you wouldn't be able to make any more because they don't show up on phones, but existing ones will continue to exist. Well, not anymore. Even with annotations set to on, I can't see them in my videos.
