What happens in 1506?
Thu, 11/11/2010 - 14:58 — DunanJust noticed this watching one of the trailers: Ezio is narrating as the scenes of his father and brothers' execution, which was in 1476, is shown. He takls about how he discovered what his destiny was to be "thirty years ago", which would imply that he's looking back from 1506.
But the game doesn't actually take us that far, does it? It ends with him in Rome in 1499 -- the novelization has this happening in 1503, the year that Rodrigo actually died -- and then that's it for ACII.
Italian speakers: is it safe to mimic the Italian voices?
Tue, 11/09/2010 - 17:53 — DunanNo, I don't mean the delightfully over-the-top Italian-accented English voices that you hear all through the game -- what a fantastic idea that was! -- but rather the Italian voice track that you can select when you first load up the game.
Even with only half a year of Italian under my belt (and one eyar of Latin, which helps), I find myself able to follow along with a lot of the Italian voice track thanks to the handy English subtitles.

I don't agree with Acorn fully 100%...although I understand not everyone likes the AC series.... sooo yeah.
FPS and Game Speed Help
Sat, 10/30/2010 - 01:55 — .. Alright, so nowadays, when I play Assassins Creed 2, I'm always getting like 25 fps, which is pissing me off because I'm used to Bad Company 2 and Mw2 running at 40-50 fps. 
Anyways, can anyone my performance increase? Btw, before, Ac2 used to run at 30 fps with every setting on high... now its not running that well..

Not much of a variety pack but just wanted to show some stuff about this stage. The first clip shows how to effectively pre assassinate all the guards in the area before the main targets spawn nearby. I skipped the stalking section because well, its boring. Next I wanted to show all the kill animations with the heavy weapons.

The purpose of this video is to show how to eliminate all the guards without being seen before taking out the target. Depending on where the guard on the ground level dies ( the guy I shoot) decides how easy the rest of the mission will be. If he dies where I shoot him both Brutes will leave the boat, but will be unable to return and will stay at ground level.
