Has anyone tried to play through the game, trying to do EXACTLY what is described in "Renaissance". So in the book, Ezio kills exactly ONE guard for example, and leaves the others at a certain section, Ezio in game does the same. I don't know if this is possible, because I've never read the book.
In the mission Play Along where you're carrying a box, and about to meet someone important (in Sequence 11), if you have the Altair outfit from Uplay, you can switch to it, and it'll look kinda funny, Altair carrying the box, everyone thinking he's a guard. Pretty hilarious if you ask me.
If this is irrelevant, or has already been mentioned, delete it.
I was playing AC2 today, because it's a nice game... I've already used that one XD.
Alright.
I recently got to the Hideout where Desmond has to activate the Defense System a la Prince of Persia.
I did it, had the Altair x Maria dream, (did the There is no Maria glitch ) and stuff like that. When I got back from it, I started wandering the Hideout some more, downstairs. I popped on Eagle Vision and saw that certain platforms and stuff were BLUE. As in ALLIES.
This video is the mission where you assassinate Vieri ( SP?) however its the one thing I dont show
Part 1: I move Mario into the cutscene by luring him with a guard, its really funny if you listen to the dialogue knowing he isnt meant to be there
I don't know if this is a glitch, if it is completely recreatable (seems to be, for me, anyway) or if it is already documented. I will post it anyway.
I was playing AC2 today, because it's a nice game. I was in San Gimignano and I caught sight of a Borgia courier. I LOVE catching these guys. 1500 f is a nice amount. Anyways. A minute into the chase, I got tired, locked on, selected my Throwing Knives and threw one at him. I was fairly close, and he was running at a straight line away from me, so the shot was pretty clear.
In AC1, in Abstergo, connected to the Animus are a variety of servers and underneath, what seem to be power cables. Then, in AC2, the Animus 2.0 is also connected to power cables and servers. However, in the end of the game, you are apparently using the Animus inside a van, or lorry, my quibble is this: How is the Animus being powered in the back of the van, complete with all the servers and metres of cabling and everything we have previously seen? Just something that's bugging me.
I couldn't believe it. I go to cnn.com to check on the daily news and see a big picture of Ezio stabbing Carlo. They've moved the article since then, but I still find it interesting that CNN had put a gaming article on front page. BTW, the article is on "cloud gaming", not AC2 in particular.

From Gamespot:

"Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy sees Ezio travel east to the Assassins' lost castle in Masyaf, where he'll seek out the origin of his order, further connecting the events of the series. "
Now the premise sounds interesting, shame it'll only be for the new system.

The video is a little shaky, but the gameplay is quite good. aurllcooljay, who is a member here, figured out how to get into Doge's Palace by manipulating the air tackle game mechanic to give you extra range on jumping. Basically, you start to air tackle someone, but then grasp a surface along the way. He calls this the superjump (starts around 0:25). He then proceeds to kill everyone inside the palace while super/hyperblended.
The superjump makes for 3 non-story methods for reaching the interior of the palace. Here are the others:
Ok, if you are a regular of this forum, you may remember around Christmas, I said I was having trouble with the No Hitter achievement, I was wearing the Auditore cape, I was at San Marco and using smoke bombs etc, but I always ending up with only 1 guard left before the 10, then he would run off and combat would be over. Eventually after trying it over and over and over again, I said screw it. Now, months later, I finally came back to it and...did it on my first try?? Was there any reason I found that stupidly hard the first time I did it?
