Ok, if you are a regular of this forum, you may remember around Christmas, I said I was having trouble with the No Hitter achievement, I was wearing the Auditore cape, I was at San Marco and using smoke bombs etc, but I always ending up with only 1 guard left before the 10, then he would run off and combat would be over. Eventually after trying it over and over and over again, I said screw it. Now, months later, I finally came back to it and...did it on my first try?? Was there any reason I found that stupidly hard the first time I did it?

Thanks to SBIzokronus for the fantastic sig!

Nothing, same as I did before, I equipped the Auditore cape, got 3 smoke bombs, went to San Marco in Venice, got some guards attacking me, smoke bomb, killed as many as I could, smoke bomb, repeat. Mind you, I think I did a couple more double kills than I usually did.

Maybe you just got lucky Tongue Often that seems to happen with me in AC.

Sometimes the game mechanics dictate what can and can't be done and it ends up seeming like something is impossible.

The double kills probably helped as you got more kills while the smoke was thickest. When the last guard was running away it was probably because the smoked had cleared just enough for him to recover and run.
By getting double kills, you end up getting the 10 kills more quickly, preventing the final 1 or 2 guards escaping Smile
