He poops. A lot. But only on walks.

Named him Baxter. And even though we live in San Diego, it has NOTHING to do with Anchorman. Stare

If you care to see more of this little guy, search facebook for BaxterChronicles (one word) and sort by posts (or photos if you only want to see the pictures).

Alright, I'm rather proud of this short Sunday morning project for Baxter.

If you can train a cat to go in a litter box, surely Baxter can learn too... He's one smart pup!

The staring marterials: six fence slats (6x2.25=$13.50), 1 cubic foot pond rocks (~$10), 2 cu.ft. top soil (~$5) and a strip of sod (~$2) from the Home Depot. Would be cheaper if you could source an old pallet or rocks. The rocks were the expensive part, really. I already had wood screws, but even if I didn't it's like $5 for a box. Tools needed are a hand saw, drill, tape measure and a pencil for marking.

After cutting the wood to size with a hand saw, I was able to construct the box. You'll shortly see why the cross-braces aren't even and why one goes all the way to the top. I forgot to screw the base slats to the cross braces (oops), so it will be impossible to move with all the weight on the slats now. Also, I left room between the slats so that water can drain out a little.

The pond rocks go in the bottom to create a drainage barrier/basin for the soil. Then the top soil went on, was compressed a bit, and thoroughly moistened.

Next, the sod went on top. The second compartment became a little gravel patch. Gravel is Baxter's current favorite bathroom surface.

Now it was Baxter's time to do the final inspection.

BAXTER APPROVED!

All that watching must have really tired him out.

Yes. I understand most people build a patio on a lawn. I'm not most people. Apartment living necessitated that I build the lawn on the patio. It took a little over an hour, but will hopefully make this little guy happy!

We do all the time! Laughing out loud He gets at least 2 walks a day (wife in the morning, me in the afternoon).

But we're also at work 8 hours a day so this will hopefully give him something else other than carpet and concrete (and his beds) to lay around on all day. haha

And, if we're lucky, it's another option to pee on in the middle of the night instead of waking us up at 4am.

Got mad street cred for knowing the guy who wrote the renderer software for the CGI in The Matrix the other day. Cool

Ha! You know, my renderer was used on other films but to this day none draw more interest than The Matrix.

That's pretty cool that your renderer was used in the Matrix.

BTW, does anyone else have an unused slot with a "?" on it on the right side of Arno's weapon wheel in Unity?

For some reason i've just noticed it recently but I thought Dead Kings would have something to fill that slot but I've played through the main story and it's still unused.

You might have to buy a certain Skill. Money Bomb, Poison Gas, etc.

Then it's probably a Co-op Ability, like the bonus Stealth Perk or whatever. I know that's at the very end of the right section of the quick menu.

It would look good as a reference on a resume. Stabguy probably wouldn't mind admitting to being affiliated with "us kids", but all the same I'd prefer to get hired because I'm a good worker, not because I happen to know somebody. Unless I'm trying to get up high in a company, that's different. Wink

But knowing somebody and making connections like that is one of the only ways to rank up in any workforce. That's why LinkedIn is a thing everyone uses. I've only gotten jobs where I've known someone connected to the company or because I knew someone that worked there. I'd go on to prove my worth, but I still have yet to be hired blindly.

The system is broken. I get that it helps if someone in the workplace can verify you're a good worker, but simply knowing someone shouldn't have to be the main thing.

I actually got interviewed for my current job because a friend knew someone who worked there, but that wasn't the case for my last one. The company was good at giving people first chances. That's why I've seen some mediocre employees come and go pretty fast. Even convinced myself my job position was cursed because new hires didn't stay for long.

I literally drew randomly. I had no direction whatsoever. So no, not really. I just felt he needed something on his arm(s) that stuck out.

Anyone seen True Detective or American Horror Story? There's a different set of characters, time period, and storyline in each season/series.

After the games die eventually, Ubisoft could sell their Television rights to a distributor and create a TV show of Assassin's Creed. Each season has a different time period, new characters (possibly actors), and story (possibly connected to other seasons). They could easily allude to Ezio and Altair without ever actually showing them and give fans a little wink wink moment here and there.

I can see it working as a live action series. Assassin's Creed: Lineage was a good example of the style they could aim for. Personally, I'd prefer this now over a new game each year.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
It could work. To me Unity was a miraculous worthy return to the basics. So thanks for one last great game, but if the whole company went bankrupt after AC victory it wouldn't matter to me.

Netflix has been good on making spinoffs (aka Netflix Original series), so that's an option for the well known AC series.

i REALLY don't have time to make videos (or even play AC). i got to play the first memory of the dead kings DLC last night. maybe i'll play more tonight.

i still have one really good idea for a video that i want to do for AC:Rogue. if anyone has played it, and has experience finding exploits to get into areas your character shouldn't be able to, let me know and i'll tell you my idea. maybe you will have more time to figure out how to do it.
