ugh, this time of the year i really hate living this far north, especially after seeing Stabs pics of the weather on a normal Hawaii day.

do you have any idea how depressing it is to go to school/work in the dark, and go home in the dark?
and the sky being an everlasting shade of gray doesn't help much

The final choice, that I'm yet to hear from, is Cambridge so it seems unlikely I'll get an offer from there but, hey, I'm pretty happy with four out five!

Anyway, next week I'm off to New York. A business trip tends to fall on (almost) my birthday, so I'm going to spend the week there. Looking forward to it. Hell, I might go to the opera and act all cultured and shit for once haha.

My friend almost got me tickets to "The Book of Mormon," but there was a falling out at the last minute. Thinking of seeing the Spider-Man musical instead. Is there anything else going on in New York next week that I should be aware of?

Also, on the subject of Universities, my brother is currently debating about playing football at the University of Richmond or going to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, or The Ohio State University (the school mentioned in the rage comic Joey posted). He finished sending applications in a few days ago because that's when the early app deadline was.

Try to get the NBA negotiations finalized while you're in NY. I live in Richmond. U of R has a great football program, a brand new stadium that is awesome, and a beautiful campus. Lots of nice "scenery" as well.

And I've always wanted to play Jak and Daxter (and I do have a PS3 )! It was a bit before my gaming time so getting the chance to play it in HD is great.
