I love the camouflage. It reminds me of that scene from When a Stranger Calls Back. Here's my guess: Shocker

It involves people making movies, which will determine whether or not you'll like it. A lot of it takes place in a video rental store.

Now that sounds like Be Kind Rewind with Jack Black. I don't recognize the screenshot though.

You got it. Jerry, played by Jack Black, wanted to sabotage that electric place (forgot the reason why). When they get into place to blend with the environment, I'd place my bet it was a reverse shot. In other words they played the scene backwards so they could spend as much time as necessary to get the camouflage to perfectly fit, while it looks like they did it all in a few seconds.

If you really can't think of a movie pic to post, Stabguy, one of us will gladly do it.

Yep. I think the first picture is earlier in the same sequence.

That looks like Eric Idle on the right. I'll guess Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.

Good guess. I expected the other actor to be identified first. Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter films.

No. I vaguely remembered the title but didn't know if it was about men or women dressed as nuns. Lucky guess.

If that's Jennifer Lawrence in the first picture, American Hustle.

Fairly certain that's Olivia Wilde, mate.

Cheese is right! The fun thing about this one was finding images where Joaquin Phoenix isn't wearing the signature red shirt and high-waisted brown pants.

Nope.

This movie came out years before the others... early 90s at the latest, if memory serves me.

(note: it's REALLY hard to find pictures that give clues but don't include the main characters... maybe if no one gets this one...)

The movie is based on a comic series.
The canister says "TGRI" on it (not turd). Stare
Though, in the comics, it's "TCRI." Puzzled
I doubt that helps anyone, but in the movie they replaced "Cosmic" with "Global" in the company's name. FLAE's eye roll

You're going to punch yourself so freaking hard, I know it. Innocent

The end of the movie included a dance party with a live performance by Vanilla Ice. And the protagonist(s) fight(s) a clan of anatomical villains.

So are you saying this is the second movie? I wouldn't know as I haven't seen any of them. Come up with a title and you've won this round.

Using Netflix as confirmation, 1991 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze. Based on the show that aired when you were still in school. Sound familiar now?

Sidenote: Ooze was my dad's go to computer and email password when I was growing up. Not sure if it was related to this movie or not.

I responded sarcastically because I thought you were BSing, but then remembered:

You need to get out more, man. Right now there are a few movies I would like to use, but don't own any of them and it will be hard to find the clips online. If anyone already has a screenshot they would like to use, go right ahead.

To clarify, I am familiar with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and recognized them in Cheese's last pictures. I just haven't seen the movies and don't intend to.

The Lincoln Memorial shot leads me to believe this is Planet of the Apes (the reboot with Mark Wahlberg).

What a coincidence, the first clue I was going to give is that Mark Wahlberg was in it. Yeah, it's the 2001 remake. The original first and second movies were the only interesting ones (and also Rise of the Planet of the Apes, but I haven't seen the newest one or the tv series), but the rest are still good to watch. The same applies to the remake, doesn't live up to the first, but still a good movie.

All those screenshots are
