Spoiler Warning for those who didn't complete sequence eight.
An Average Day in the life of a Prisoner
Some humor earlier in the sequence. During the time you eavesdrop on a conversation in the cell, there are two objects you can interact with (besides the wall and bed, which are required). You can knock on the cell door, which gets a reaction from a guard. There's also a bucket by the bed (to eat from?).
Avoiding a fight
Rather than directly attack one of the prisoner targets, go to a corner and whistle. This will get their attention. You have the ability to use your fists only when in the area where they were originally standing, so lure one back to that area (make sure none of them are nearby when you knock him out, or you might desynch). When the fight starts, they are out of the ring of people, past an invisible barrier. You have to restart the checkpoint to get farther in the game.
Execution
After escaping the gallows, climb back on stage. The hood Charles Lee put on you is still there, hovering in midair. It won't be there if you restart the checkpoint.
Thomas Hickey
I tried performing a stylish kill on the target, but never had enough time (either he kills all of George Washington's bodyguards, or they kill him). However I got lucky enough for a running civilian to bump into him when he barely started moving. This allowed me to kill him where he pretty much was.
Seeing how this was tagged under the blitz section, have we reached the point where anything goes for a blitz now?
I would consider this a blitz for the same reason as Ian's and my Garnier/Sibrand blitzes. Those targets move randomly (as do the Hospitalier civilians) so any blitz will not be easily reproduced. However, these blitzes do not rely on some glitch like my accidental blitz on Upward Mobility.
I try not to get hung up on what counts as a Blitz or an Early Death. If someone is looking for fast assassinations in AC3 then they would be interested in seeing this video.
Going to prison was actually one of my favorite parts of the game, believe it or not. Escaping is half the fun. The Thomas Hickey assassination was one of those memories I had to keep repeating in order to get full synch. Since time is slowed it was hard for me to do the running assassinations like I normally would. Instead of heading for this one guard on the right I went left instead, killed a guy there, kept going, and another guard happened to run into my path on the way there.
I accidentally tricked the Animus with the Thomas Hickey kill at the end. I assassinated him just as he landed a killing blow on Washington's left guard. It told me I completed the objective anyway. So many interesting things have happened to me on ACIII and I can't record it because I lack the stuff to record video games properly.
Nice vid! I like the part where you blocked the inmates from entering the fight circle.
Finally, someone mentions something else! That happened to me on my first playthrough, as a result of messing around. That's why I made the video so soon, before anyone else could discover and document it.

When you name a video "... Dies Where He Stands," and it's an Assassination in Assassin's Creed, and it's unusual/lucky -- of course that's what most of the comments will be about.
After all, it's not "Prison Fight Club Creed."

I love that you can still do stuff like that in this game, great for hilarious videos like this.
Has anyone encountered guards that don't attack you in combat like in this video? I never encountered it before so i don't know if it's an inherent bug in all AC games.
This was at minimum an 8. The fact that the Kill Him Where He Stands happened boosts it up to a very high 9.

Don't worry. It is.

Haha, I also noticed that. Just look at the title picture and guess what will happen. I'm sorry I had to put the target's name in the title, that was the major spoiler. It surprises me that the one thing people like about this vid is
Dang. Like you're reading my mind. Later today, I was going to ask if anyone had done a "kill him where he stands" in this game. There are quite a few opportunities... Hickey, Braddock, Lee (?) ... Hickey was the most obvious though.
That assassination was damn fast and lucky.

Good thing, too. I originally wanted to do an eagle strike from viewpoint of the building, but never had enough time. If there was a way to prevent Thomas form fighting the guards or delay it, that would give me enough time.

You mean earlier today. Unless...
Oh, wait. You were going to ask. Never mind.
