At the moment I have the WR on Hidden blade 1 and WR for Hidden Blade 2 for PS3, Stealth Assassinations. I have more decent records but I want to improve them before posting

Went back and did Hidden Blade combat a second time, got 35!

Jack, how did you get 65? That's pretty impressive (I've only done All Weapons once so 33 is my best, but it's more difficult than it seems).

Smoke Bombs, use them wisely.

I use them at the start of each major wave past wave 3 to take care of as many seekers as possible as you cant combo them with the long sword. I also use poison while the smoke is in affect as the animation is short and you can get a good 5 seekers in a round you struggle with. Dont double assassinate, it only counts as one kill.

The leader on PS3 has around 90, I plan to get over 100 once I get a good strat going, might film it to show some basic tips

Record for all weapon flawless is 75 now, had an easy counter on a regular guard but my heart was racing too much because I knew I had an extra smoke bomb for another round that would boost me to like 85...

I actually ran through the Free Run – Race Tutorial a bunch of times and ended up with a time of 31.58. That got me 2nd place on the 360 leaderboards.

I'm definitely not going for any others. There are just too many variables that you have to nail precisely all in a single run in order to get the best scores. I'm not a masochist so I'm not going to waste my time killing myself to get good scores on everything. Especially not with the screwy turn sensitivity in ACB.

As good as this game is, I could write a book on how to improve the controls...

Flawless no Weapon is 83, was at the end of the wave and got hit by a damn regular guard again

Nice work on flawless hidden blade, im terrible at that. Should we have a top 3 for each mission? That might be a bit too much work though, then again this topic isnt very active.

Turns out someone beat my world records on the hidden blade challenges, but I intend to get over 100 kills in flawless all weapons

flawless all weapons : 80 (I know it's not top but it's still pretty good?)

How on earth is your hidden blade score higher than all weapons?? You should just do all weapons and use the hidden blade, but use your smoke bombs for easy kills.

Just wondering what your tactics are, do you go for huge kill streaks or do you stay clam and counter kill and play it slow? Do you use the hidden blade to beat Seekers and Brutes, or do you use other weapons and kill them using kill streaks? Im guessing you use the hidden blade

For the 88 I didn't use the hidden blade at all, i used the short weapon and killed seekers and brutes as part of a kill streak but other than that I just countered, it means a fair bit of dodging but it's quicker and i find it easier to counter and get kill streaks with the short blade.
I also don't use smoke bombs really as for some reason i have a problem locking onto guards after using them and end up losing as it won't let me counter

I'm guessing the same...I use the kill streaks as i find more easy, i'm not so good with the Hidden Blade at fighting.

Ah as for smoke bombs dont bother locking on at all. Use all your poison the first time you use them, you can get 5 guards very fast as their is no kill animation. Only go for 4 if you arent confident it will last long enough. Then run back pull out your normal weapon and carry on.

On the next round that you run out of poison, simply assassinate them with the hidden blade. I only go for 3, its not much but you can take out 3 seekers at the start of the wave and get into position, basically it buys you time.

Tx for the poison tip, I hadn't thought of that . Just went back and got 93 on the all weapons challenge after a fairly long time, after 85 when the papal guards appear I seem to make a mistake very quickly, I just get nervous as I get near a hi-score!!

I know exactly what you mean, as soon as I got up to the wave with the papal guards, I got a high score, got nervous, and tried to counter a seeker with my long sword... fail

I'm back to my weird ways of being better at hidden blade than all weapons, just got..... 114 on hidden blade so i'm 4th on xbox360 with 3 ppl on 115. I was so cross when i found out i was 2 off a world record!!! What's ps3 record?

Oh wow, updating this is going to be a pain.

I'm very impressed with some of these records. It also does me good to know that my free-running records are like 5+ seconds better than everyone elses

I think the record is stuck at 115 for Xbox, I have heard many glitches where they passed the wave but no guards came, and they wouldnt get the score of 116 recorded. Not sure if this is the case for PS3. I knew this would be a pain updating lol, I might just save all my updates for the end of the week to make it easier.

For all weapons, why not just use the hidden blade anyway, isnt it the same?

It should be but I'm not that good consistently, most of my scores are around 50, i occasionally have a really good go and get a really high score.

hey just wondering during a kill streak if you dodge a seeker can you carry on the kill streak or does it end when you dodge?

Dodging doesn't break the streak per se, but it does break the ability to do the instant-kill attacks (same as breaking free from a grab). The only way to keep up the streak is to do a counterattack immediately afterward. If nobody attacks or grabs you right away, the streak is broken. It's risky because you're relying on the AI attacking within a small window in order to maintain the kill streak.

Got 100 in Flawless All Weapons, I dont think we should post records that arent number 1 because it willb e way too hard to update all of it

i got 540 in Long Kill Streak. 555 in Medium Kill Streak, 30.29 in Short Course 1. and 1:30.75 in Long Course 2

PhiIs1618033 is my Xbox Live gamertag. I ran 18.53 or something like that on short course 3. I'm in the top ten of the worldwide leaderboards there. In any case, I'd like to join in on the leaderboards.

Got 00:59:99 on Stealth assassination - Hidden blade 3, which was good enough for rank 9. Gonna try to get on frontpage with the other hidden blade stealth missions.

One question, are the ingame leaderbords shared between consoles, or is there a PS leaderbord and a XBOX leaderbord?

Should we include everyone, or just THB? I mean there are people with like 4000 points in long kill streak. I'm not even kidding.

Also, we should have a submission form where we submit an image of our score (take a photo/video) and type up the number aswell. The score could then be placed on a THB leaderboard for everyone to view and beat. Would be interesting...

Nah just THB. If I wanna see the world, il just go online and check the in game leaderboards. Not all people can provide proof, I usually provide videos of high scores im really proud of.

Yea.. so we should implement a THB leaderboard. Mabye we can fill up the world leader boards of people from THB?

They have FINALLY fixed the glitch on flawless chalenges where 115 was the max score, i just got 141 on flawless hidden blade (world record is 279...)
