I'll be working for YPG (Yellow Pages Group). $11 an hour. Awww yeah Cool And no sales or anything. Just student-level office work. Big smile

But yeah, I actually agree it would make more sense to call it Handegg. XD

At least where I live, the minimum wage is something like $7.50 an hour. They might have raised it recently, actually. I dunno. But yeah, it's a really good wage for an entry-level position. Laughing out loud

Aaaahhhh, Portal 2 is completely wonderful. Just about as perfect as a game can be.

I'd love to hear how it goes with the co-op. Laughing out loud

Rob, what's your gamertag? I should be getting in in a month. I don't mind if you don't want to wait that long. Big smile

And Lisa, what do you play on? 360 or PS3?

For both of you, my gamertag is GreatJoey Fogey (yes, with no space in front of "Joey").

Love the PS3. It's great if you don't play online. Not a big fan of it. Don't like the 360 at all. I hate the awkward controllers.

I like the controllers of the 360. They fit better with my hands. I like the PS3 features better. Free to play online and it looks prettier. Even the dashboard is smoother to navigate and look through. And the PS3 hardware functions on a much better level than a 360's. Microsoft gives off a "tries-too-hard" impression on me. I do like the Xbox avatars, though. The PS3 ones aren't as fun.

Just my thoughts. I wish I could mix and match them together.

I agree that xbox controllers are much better to hold but having to pay for online sucks, atleast it doesn't get hacked though.

It's hard not to like the Xbox controller. The only initial complaint is the weight of it compared to the PS3 (which weighs almost nothing) but you don't even notice how heavy the Xbox's is after a little while.

I do like the PS3's dashboard so much more. It's much slicker and easier to navigate. But as for online, and this from what I've heard before PSN went down, I've heard that there's little to no moderation, so hackers and modders can do whatever they please (this was and still is a gigantic problem for Call of Duty games apparently). So I'm willing to pay only five bucks a month for a quality online experience.

Avatars are stupid. I'm sorry but Xbox is trying too hard to be like the Nintendo Wii and failing miserably (see Kinect for further evidence...)

I detest fanboy consoleism and think both the PS3 and Xbox are great.

I used to love the 360's controller but when I got a PS3 I just got used to the PS3 one instead. The triggers on the 360 controller are a million times better - they're actually trigger shaped - but I'm just more used to PS3 now.

In terms of on-screen display, I absolutely love the XMB while the Xbox display looks a bit average. Still, not a massive problem.

The recent PSN hack was quite annoying but it wasn't entirely Sony's fault and I don't play online that much anyway. I mostly just use PS Store (which still isn't back Stare) and VidZone, LoveFilm etc. Most people claim Xbox Live is a lot better than PSN but, to be honest, I can't comment. I've never had any major problems while actually online but obviously hacks are an issue. Still, I don't fancy paying for online play that I'd rarely use.

I prefer the actual look of the PS3 as it seems more sophisticated but then it was a lot more expensive! I was so close to buying a 360 but changed my mind at the last second based on friends' consoles. Definitely don't regret choosing it - I love Uncharted and Resistance Laughing out loud

I wish the 360's controllers were more durable. I've gone through more of those than any Playstation controller I've owned. I do love the 360 trigger buttons, though. PS3 shooters make you use the tiny PS3 R1 button button. It doesn't feel right pressing it to shoot any gun. I forgave it when I tried AC2 on PS3, since it was just a running button.

That's mostly just for CoD that you use PS3 R1 button . A lot of other games (RDR, GTA, and others) use PS3 R2 button which is actually worse as your finger easily slips off and it's impossible to get them comfortable. The triggers on 360 are great as they're realistic and comfortable. On ps3, it's actually easier to use PS3 R1 button but a lot of games insist on using the 'trigger' Tongue

I like the PS3 controller's use of 2 trigger buttons on each side that feel the same. I don't like how the Xbox controller has two very different trigger buttons.

The xbox triggers actually feel like triggers though and it's hard to keep your finger on the ps3 triggers for a long time, it feels more natural on the xbox.

Since the Xbox trigger is spring loaded to have tension similar to a real trigger, it also makes it harder to press the button as rapidly as you can on the PS3. I've never had problems with keeping my fingers on the buttons of the PS3 triggers.

Evil

Actually, I don't know. Haha. I'm not an aggressive gamer and I don't rage quit or throw my controller at a wall. It's usually that a button gets stuck every once in a while or becomes unresponsive when I need it most. Most recently, my left analog stick became stuck pointing forwards by a small fraction of an inch, causing my character to constantly walk at a slow pace, forcing me to keep pushing down on the stick to keep them in 1 place.

And my Xbox right bumper on my other controller gets stuck sometimes. I use that for poison kills in ACB multiplayer. So many opportunities missed because of that sticky button. FLAE's eye roll

I guess I have strong fingers...?

Joey, I've got pretty strong fingers (I play the bass and the piano, so, yeah) and the only thing on a controller I've ever broken is the Xbox button, I pushed it to the side while it was down, so it got stuck. Tongue
Maybe you should try cleaning out your controller? Wink

The controller that has a sticky Xbox right bumper button does look kinda dirty in between the buttons, but I've used that one for years now, so it has to build up some dirt. I have a black one I got for Christmas and it works good, but I'll bet something happens to it by August. Evil

i had the same problem with my old one. that was very annoying, especially in AC:B multiplayer, when i hide in a haycart and my character just jumps out.
and then it broke even more when it randomly thinks that the cord isn't in properly, and then i just got a new one
