Assassins Creed Unity Templar Easter Eggs Sequence 1 Memory 3 High Society

Please keep annotations on.

Sequence 1 Memory 3 High Society

Pretty much the memory that gets the plot going, but what you didn't know about is the early appearances of some important characters, mostly Templar targets. I thought it appropriate to have Shay's Templar outfit on to match the theme.

At the beginning you can see a clue of de la Serres' secret life, a Templar cross on a portrait. Also worth mentioning: When Arno looks at himself in the mirror during the scene his reflection is wearing the original Arno civilian outfit despite what outfit you have equipped.

When trying to get inside the party, Arno runs into the first important character, Maximilien François Isidore de Robespierre. Although he doesn't become an assassination target in the game, Robespierre plays a vital role and is mentioned from time to time. And who is that in line behind Arno? None other than the first target, Charles Gabriel Sivert. He is recognized as a Templar from his two Templar cross decorations, on his left lapel and another hanging from the front of his belt.

Before entering the party, Arno is found out by Robespierre, although that doesn't stop him. Now after entering in, Arno beholds a conversation between two people: Charles Gabriel Sivert and Roi de Thunes discussing meeting later to murder de la Serre.

Now enter into the next room. Three more targets are there, Marie Lévesque, Louis-Michel Le Peletier and Chrétien Lafreniére. Lafreniére, much unlike Marie and le Peletier, is a less subtly dressed Templar and can easily be distinguished from civilians. Not only does he have two Templar symbol decorations, other Templar crosses are etched in his flowing robes, and the robes themselves give the hint of belonging to a secret society. The presence of these three targets has little meaning other than showing up for Elise's initiation ceremony into the Templar order.

Now for a third appearance by Robespierre. Shortly after chasing after Elise, you can hear "Spread out and find him! I'll not be made mock of by the likes of him". Looking in front of you and to your right, you can see Robespierre entering from a small room and going back in before disappearing. If you're quick enough you can get a quick glimpse before the game despawns him.

After losing sight of Elise, there isn't sign of her anywhere, but after getting close enough to the room she's hiding in, the door will swing open. This is easily missed since you have to get nearly close enough to start the scene.

One last thing in the memory. After Arno finds de la Serre, you get a good look at the assailant Sivert, but he's not as recognizable by his hat knocked off and bloodied face. The Templar decorations help identify him.

Sequence 2 Memory 1 Imprisoned

Also included part of the next memory. Elise admits to belonging to the Templar order, but looking close enough you can see the Templar cross on her shoulder before she makes the shocking revelation. The letter from the previous memories also gets explained. Notice it is signed with the letter "L", which stands for Lafreniére, one of the Templars at the party. Not shown in the video, the letter is further explained in his assassination memory scene

Awesome Aurel, as always. I went through this dozens of times but now it may look somewhat different Smile

My first ever playthrough, I absolutely spammed Eagle Vision a lot in this memory, because I felt so powerful with the way they changed it. (Don't like it so much anymore.) So I noticed a lot of the people were [gold], and one of then (Lafreniere) had obvious Templar robes.

Everything else, I missed. Good video. Smile

This memory has a lot of potential for early deaths, just have to figure out a way to circumvent the rectrictions that happen when you enter the room with all the targets.
Or find out a way to be able to go back there without trggering the ending cutscene with De La Serre

I should have known that drawing attention to this memory would cause Early Death interest (and I hope that's not why Fed981 went through this memory dozens of times). Already had an idea I'm trying to perfect. Innocent

And thanks for the kind words, everyone. Smile Easter eggs generally don't refer to something within the game itself, so I hope I'm using the proper term.

I don't remember any gold glowing characters my first time playing, so I must not have used eagle vision at that time.

I actually tried a few things with this memory a while back since I also remembered seeing a lot of gold glowing characters during my initial playthrough but I couldn't really think of a way to bypass the restrictions.

I am curious about your idea though!

Usually I don't give away things before the video is out unless I happen to be collaborating; then again it's easy to get paranoid about someone else finding it out and releasing it first, like what's happened before. What do you all think about receiving video information early?
