One character AI flaw in the early AC games is that enemies can't do anything if they are crouching on a railing/beam/other climbable object while you are hanging below. This was changed later in the series by giving them the ability to stomp down on you in that situation, but in the meanwhile enemies jumped to their deaths as a result. Here are some examples in AC2.
First of is Antonio Maffei. Lure him to the leap of faith beam and hang off it. He will jump down, landing on the edge of the tower and fall to his death.
Next are Dante and Silvio. Since Dante is a brute enemy type, he normally can't freerun but can be convinced to climb onto short objects while chasing after you. The front of the ship is such a place. This was made easier by Silvio getting knocked off by Dante, after which he gave up trying to reach Ezio and jumped down to his death (or maybe he felt guilty for what he did to Silvio).
Now are the Orsi brothers from the Battle of Forli DLC. First one is killed pretty much the same way as Antonio. The second, after reaching the end of his flee route and fighting Ezio, is led to a nearby bridge. One of the poles is right at the edge of water. This wasn't a good spot because he tends to jump from the taller pole to the shorter one, but I picked that location for being close. Not that it matters since I had to edit out a bunch of the chase to save video time.
Lastly is a target in the Bonfire of Vanities. There are many guards to deal with here, but nearly all of them are agiles that can be killed with a simple grab+kill. in this case I led him to a wide railing. He chooses not to jump off until after giving up on chasing Ezio.
Bonus
A blooper on the second Orsi brother. After killing Ezio, the target falls into water, triggering the memory corridor at the last possible moment. So now we have a scene where Ezio kills him, then gets stabbed, all while they are both lying dead underwater! Talk about assassinception.

If there's something more annoying than a spambot, it's a spambot who double posts.
When categorizing this video, I actually had to look up which memories each target took place in. It's been way too long since I've played the classic AC games.
This is the very first THB video to feature an assassination of Ludovico Orsi. I recall Ian bemoaning that the mission design allowed little room for creativity.
Awesome, as usual
Super creative, and hilarious. The early Assassin's Creed games had stuff like this that we could do to mess with the game, break it open and have tons of fun with it. Just in time to get me hype for Ezio Collection too
