Rope-Launcher Gameplay (I REALLY like this! Like, a LOT. It's so smooth/fluid and you can see that the reason they did it was to provide an Answer for how much farther apart Buildings are now - because of proper streets.)

MASSIVE amount of gameplay.
At around 1:40 you see the new Weapon Selector. It is simple and clean. Good.
At around 2:18 you see how targeting a fire-barrel and the subsequent AoE works in the HUD. Easily readable. Good.
At around 3:00 you see how throwing Knives works. It's very FAST and responsive. I like it.
At around 3:25 you see how Assassinating from Rope works, and ALSO the NEW DETECTION INDICATOR! IT'S SO NICE!

I heard that combat is pretty easy and carriages don't control that well at full speed. Looks like that's the case from that footage.
hud and grapple stuff looks solid, nice new detector.
This game probably won't review as well as black flag since it doesn't really have a super unique hook besides being really playable and polished (evidently) and I wonder if Ubi didn't show all this stuff at conferences because they intend to slowly minimize AC's presence, making way for a break. The removal of multiplayer sure seems to hint at this being a game they're trying to make as efficiently as possible.
I think I'll be buying this a while after launch when the price goes down, so many games this fall, plus Hitman looks like my ideal Assassination game. This will be a good bit of fun, I think.
