The IT Crowd is class. I love that programme.

I've recently got really into 'How I Met Your Mother' and have been watching 15 or so episodes a day while revising. I've watched it before if I just happen to see that it's on TV but now that I'm up to date with all the long-running story-lines and in-jokes I love it so much more. It genuinely makes me LOL (a rare thing for a programme to do, particularly when I'm just sitting on my own) especially when they randomly break into song or Marshall gets all hysterical and feminine.

I love American comedy.

My two favorite over-arching story lines are the slap bet and the ducky tie (somewhat interrelated for a while).

That and the use of "sandwiches" for marijuana.

Also, Ted better hurry up and meet the mother. The show takes place in 2030 and the kids are in their mid-teens. If he doesn't meet her soon, the series will have to end with, "It was a busted prophylactic on a one-night stand... that's how I met your mother."

How I Met Your Mother is such a great show. Neil Patrick Harris makes anything better.

I read somewhere that when auditioning for the part, he did a laser tag scene. He actually went into the office and barrel rolled, etc during the audition.

Also, nothing suits him like a suit.

For those that don't know... the green is the outline of the state of Vermont... and to collect the sap from sugar maples, you tap it with a spile and let it drip into a hanging bucket. I'm not sure this sign has their intended message though...

21 Jump Street is actually really funny, I was laughing at some scenes for like 10 minutes straight.

For you How I Met Your Mother watchers... don't forget to read Barney's Blog (the one he always references in the show).

Unfortunately, it's not easy to work through (with searching by year or episode, for example). In fact, they switched formats between season 6 and 7 (and didn't mention anything) and the archives from 1-6 didn't carry over. The blog is usually updated after every new episode... so once a week in season.

I saw that Abe Lincoln movie yesterday. It was actually pretty good!

When I first saw the Buu one (the pink version on the right side) a few days ago, I think it could've passed for the real thing!

The last time I laughed really hard was while watching Idiocracy (2006). It's a Mike Judge movie that didn't get as much attention as Office Space or Beavis and Butt-Head. The plot of Idiocracy is similar to Futurama: a man hibernates for 500 years. The twist is that society has gotten dumb due to devolution (i.e. stupid people have overbred) so much so that an average man of today is the smartest man on earth in the future.

The first 30 minutes of the movie were really funny. It built up to the point where I was roaring at the most popular TV show in 2505: Ow! My Balls!. By then I was giggling so much that I missed part of what the narrator said:

It was okay but I was distracted by some of the historical inaccuracies.

I'm going to use that movie to teach my kids about the Civil War.

Damn it, Cheese! I didn't know what QWOP was and now I've spent like three hours playing it. Is 30 meters any good for a beginner? (I mean actually running, not crawling.)

I've been watching other uploads on this guy's channel since you posted this video and I laugh everytime. I usually don't like people talking over a game but I find myself watching these just for his commentaries.

Really? I'm just practicing the basic strategy from the Wikipedia page. If you guys have any interest in doing longer runs, start a QWOP topic on the Other Games forum and I will share a few tips that I've picked up.

LOL - getting started is the hardest part. About half of my attempts are under 3m.

My furthest run is 2.4m. NGL, I was f*cking thrilled with that.

i thibk my best is around 27 metres, and that's when crawling on the knees.
i have no idea how to it actually running on the feet

HIMYM for me was actually pretty funny (first season was the bomb) but then slowly and slowly it started to feel boring for me (technically there is nothing really that new in new episodes). However i have still managed to watch all the 7 seasons. NPH was actually the reason i started watching this show. I also went to watch Scrubs and that was getting boring aswell. Sitcoms just don't cut it for me. I really hate the laughing of the public after every god-damn joke.

Bootsy is the fucking man.

HIMYM has stagnated a little but it's the regular jokes that make it funny for me. NPH is just brilliant and I think he keeps it alive.

Yeah, I don't really like Scrubs. I don't mind the odd episode but some people I know absolutely love it and I just don't get it.

I personally like Barney, Ted and Robin. But Marshall and Lily for me are annoying as hell. The first two seasons were okay but then they started to get annoying real bad.

I can empathise with you about Marshall and lily, although at times I think Marshall is just hilarious. Despite him being key to the whole story, I actually find Ted quite annoying.

I feel really bad posting this but it is honestly the last thing that I laughed REALLY hard at:

i think Marshall is funny for the most part, and you're right that Ted is the least likeable of them all.
but while the later seasons have been low on the humor side, i think they've been pretty good with the character development

I'm up to 95 meters in QWOP (running on the feet). You may be thinking that anyone who can run 95 meters can surely run 100. I agree. That's why I've been recording ever since my personal best reached 70 meters. I plan to put together a tutorial and publish it here on THB.

I just watched this video. About this guy playing a indie game called Slender. Its basically the player roaming around a dark woods setting. And in the distance someone is watching you. This guy's reactions are hilarious ,to me at least.

I played QWOP today and got about 70 meters before stopping. I didn't run like a normal person (who can?), but I scooted along pretty slowly. My hands were cramping up a bit, so I had to stop. I felt proud, though! Even if it was unorthodox.
