I'm European of course, so I've been raised on Football, but I also moved to Canada at 5 years old, so I've ALSO been raised on Soccer.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

To be completely honest, it was the "It'sa me! Mario!" at the beginning of ACII... remember, I'm just now playing it the first time through... but when I got to that part, I busted up, couldn't go on, turned the game off and laughed about it the rest of the night while watching TV.

Didn't really laugh at... but didn't know where to put this. I'd like to see Altaïr or Ezio pull off the move at 0:46 when the climb leap fails.

For anyone who watches/watched Spartacus, this video is just brilliant:

Spartacus is an awesome series. One of the best quotes being Crixus' "Sever a man's head is no easy task... you must find the right angle"

Saw this video again recently and laughed just as much as the first time :

Yeah, it's brilliant. I did a marathon of both series and the prequel mini-series recently (I don't have Sky so watched them all online Evil ) and got really into it; sadly I watched every episode in about three days so was suddenly left with nothing to watch.

Then Game of Thrones came to the rescue...

Same here : saw the three seasons in a matter of days. I stopped watching series a few years ago because I couldn't find one on the level of Prison Break, but the addictiveness of Spartacus proved me wrong ! It really is a shame that the main actor of season 1 died, his replacement is pale in comparison.
Game of thrones seems interesting, I should give it a try until season 3 of Spartacus (:

Yeah I was gutted when I realised Andy Whitfield had died. Liam McIntyre is slowly getting there but just doesn't seem quite right at the moment.

Game of Thrones is great, although pretty confusing at first. It's not possible to watch it and revise at the same time, which is what I've been trying to do, as it needs your full attention. I've stopped watching it now though because I plan to read the books after my exams as they sound like just the sort of thing I love (i.e anything fantasy-based).

Thank you for having mentioned Game of Thrones, I'm having a good time watching it. I have seen four episodes so far, and watched the pilot twice to assimilate all the names. I look forward to see what's winter like, and more happening at the Wall. This place looks great.

Yeah, learning who's who is a good idea as it just gets more complicated. I've watched to the end of the first series but, as I said, I've planned to read the books before watching any more so I'm afraid I'm in no position to discuss the story further than that.

I'm going to buy the box set of the first five books (sold as seven books for publishing reasons) because I'm pretty confident I'll like them. I have to wait until the 12th July for the box set to be released but I think it's worth it to save a bit of money and have a nice set of the books so far.

The Wall is really interesting; I wish it was covered more but I've heard it gets even more interesting as the story develops...
