Hey everone I' pretty new to the site. I've waited to introduce myself intill I could bring something useful into the light. I've noticed the frustration with finding aconite for the venomous shop quest for fast poison. It drops from the bodies of Borgia Messengers but they can be A REAL PAIN TO CATCH AND ESPECIALLY FIND. So what you do is tunnel travel from the Tiber hideout to the thieves guild , climb onto the tunnel entrance and face the street facing opposite the thieves guild building... in about 20-30 seconds a BM will start running down the street right towards you!! Dispatch, loot, and then tunnel travel back to Tiber to reset the whole thing. Rinse and repeat and you will have that pesky aconite in no time. Party

Welcome! Good idea, but how long would you think getting some aconite would take using this strategy

In my experience, Aconite hasn't been a problem at all. I usually leave the Tiber Island hideout from the top exit, and i usually spot a borgia messenger, so i descend to the streets and kill him. I did this twice, both times i got Aconite.

So tell me, is Aconite really that much of a pain? Or is it simply finding messengers and chasing them down

P.S.

Hi and welcome Smile

Hasn't someone already suggested a strategy similar to this? I'm not sure it was for farming aconite but it definitely involved facing away and waiting for a Borgia Messenger to respawn to farm some other item Glasses

Yes, LisaMurphy mentioned it on another topic. She read about it on GameFAQs. I don't know who originally came up with it.

You won't even feel the blade.

I think there have been 2 or 3 different strategies (not including yours, Jon). This seems one of the easier methods, though.

Welcome! Laughing out loud
