Hey guys! I put a video on youtube that shows me doing eagle strike on Bernardo Baroncelli. The video is called Assassin's creed 2 eagle strike on Bernardo Baroncelli. So that's another target you can do eagle strike on. The best part is you kill him where he walks (sort of, it looks like he's trying to flee while you are assassinating him) which is awesome because if I recall correctly Stabguy said in a post "We have yet to find a target in AC2 that can be eagle struck where he stands (like William de Montferrat in AC1)." What I think he means by that is do eagle strike without interrupting the normal travel pattern of the target. So watch the video and put comments here if you think it is front page material. Cool

UPDATE:
Here's a guide to the eagle strike, much more effective and reliable.

The video originally had more stuff (music and an eagle strike from standing on top of the other tower), but something went wrong and the top half of the screen was blank for a large part of the video.

It was probably because of a problem that happened while recording. The strange thing is it didn't show the top half blank until after I saved it on Moviemaker. So instead I saved it on HP Video Viewer. You may have noticed the video is a bit more widescreen than my other ones. I'm guessing Moviemaker changes it a bit and makes it a bit more fullscreen. Also on my youtube video manager it says the video is HD. Crown

Yes, this is what I meant by "where he stands" and your eagle strike qualifies. Nice find! Keep up the good videos.

You won't even feel the blade.

It's glad I'm getting alot of views and some comments on this video. (It may be my biggest video ever) Eagle strikes are like the four leaf clovers of stunt assassinations. In fact I think this eagle strike is the fourth one I've seen in both games. The other ones are William, Sibrand, and the one in an ac2 expansion. Bernardo Baroncelli is the first target I tried stunt assassinations on. (so you can expect a video soon) I tried to do eagle strike because I did a bunch of other stunts so I thought it would be cool to see if I can perform one for variety. When I did pull it off I decided to make it into its own separate video. It's kind of tricky to get the angling on the jump, and sometimes you may land a little ways away. (such as on the market stall or on the very edge of the railing) The time to jump off the building would be when the target approaches the stall. Ironically this is when he starts talking about being spied on. In my video you can kind of see the words but can't really hear it. When he says its just it's just his nerves you can kind of hear it. Isn't it comical that he senses me when I'm on top of the building but when I'm falling down and about to grasp the ledge he says it's nothing? And did you notice the eagle that flies by shortly before I jump down? It really gives meaning to the term "eagle strike". What I'm wondering is if it's considered killing him where he walks because when I'm starting to assassinate him I hear exclamations and it looks like he's starting to flee while I'm assassinating him. That's probably why the assassination looks kind of weird. (just watch it in slow motion) But since that's happening while I'm assassinating him it might still be considered killing him where he walks.

Wow. Nice eagle strike. I think ian or stab has done a kill on him from a tower/building nearby as he flees (don't think its an eagle strike) but as you said this one doesnt interrupt his walk. Might try this out. Thanks
