I've known of the spin off for a while... I'm very hesitant about it... I mean, I thought Breaking Bad was good the way it was... I'd rather them not ruin my picture of Saul from that show with a knock-off origin story.... If the quality is there, it will be great. But I'm not holding my breath...

Yeah, I'm on the fence about Better Call Saul as well.

We finally finished Breaking Bad. Best TV show ever (except maybe The Wire Wink). I just read through all of the spoilers in this thread. Cheese's original predictions were very good.

My veterinarian looks like Todd, "That Opie dead-eyed piece of shit."

Stabguy! You're already a season behind on Better Call Saul!

Also, coincidentally, as a chemist I'm running my first reaction ever using methylamine as a starting material today.

It's really not that hard to find if you know where to look... that's not to say that you can buy it without proper credentials or whatever. FLAE's eye roll

I love how the product images on that site are just the chemical formulas.

stabguy... is that your vet, or the actor that plays Todd?

That's my vet. Here's a side by side with the actor:

Clearly different people. One parts his hair left and down; the other right and up. Totally different.

But wow. He certainly LOOKS like Meth Damon! I hope your vet treats your animals better than he would though.

I used to read these comics incessantly when Breaking Bad was still airing. Here are three of my favorites:

I watched season 1 of The Wire and, let me tell you, it's no Breaking Bad. Ugh. I didn't like it at all. stabgal quit after the first episode but I kept going because one review said it takes a few episodes to hook you. For me that never happened.
