SOMEONE JUST DRAW A BLOODY PICTURE OF DESMOND ALREADY.
I did but it's a rough sketch so we can see what we're building up to. I'll have it uploaded (hopefully) by the weekend, then I'll work on a detailed, better version with any variations we agree on.
should I color it?
If you feel the desire to, but it's just a rough sketch I got. I'm planning on making actual drawings in the future. Right now, I forgot my photobucket password, so I'll have to get that e-mailed to me, then upload each of them.
Use tinyimg... seriously come on man.
As I said, it's a rough sketch made to give us an idea of what a modern-day Assassin would look like in our descriptions.
I like it, though I think he does deserve a small gun and a bullet belt.
A potential actor I've thought about if my superhero, The Cardinal, was ever in a movie by chance, Holt McCallany:
In the synopsis I have for a mini series of this character, he does have a brunette girlfriend that supports his heroics. This scene would take place after battling the main villain of the entire storyline. So it all fits and makes sense, according to my brain imaginings... The above image is an improvement from my first attempt at this scene:
Testing out my new PhotoShop skills! Woot!
thats awesome
That picture amazes and confuses me at the same time. It looks like a photo combined with a classic painting, when in fact there's nothing classic about it! Nice photoshopping
I like your comment, Patrick! That actually made me smile! (first time in a few weeks!)
Here's something on my DA that I haven't put into Photobucket, yet:
http://joeyfogey.deviantart.com/art/Desmond-Miles-Black-Hoodie-256284533
I should fix the hood to match the rest of the hoodie, but it looked fine when I uploaded it. It was simple, but a lot of fans like to see Desmond as a real Assassin.
Nice, Joey!
Very dramatic.
Thanks!
I think I'll make this my pastime for now. It takes my mind off things, and I haven't had any motivation to draw traditionally.
As I understand it, digital art is The Way To Go. So, more power to you.
My daughter uses Photoshop a lot and really likes it. We were able to get it for her at half-price with her student I.D. hint hint. She also uses Corel Painter (which I think she may have won in a contest) - has a steep learning curve but can do amazing things. She recommends Paint Tool SAI as well as it is comparatively inexpensive.
I'm only going to use Photoshop to improve past works I've done, not to create new art unless I'm in a Graphic Design position. But the good thing about this version is that it came free with my laptop. ^_^
yeah i like drawing on paper and plus i have a laptop not so good for photoshop

Drawing on marble is always good too...
And I just got a wireless mouse so I could play pc games and use stuff like Photoshop. It's much easier than using the touch pad.
not for me i need a mouse i shake alot lol
WOOOO HOOOOO i'll finally be able to put my drawings on deviant art oh happy day !!!

Pretty sweet, EA!
thank you joey
Nice! Pretty good effort there - some nice detail on the armour
deviantART is also a good place to post your fanfic, EzioAltair. THB member LadyVe has an extensive collection of her original AC fanfic there.
Just to be clear, you are welcome to post fanfic here too. I'm just thinking that you may find a broader audience on DA, especially if you enter contests on VisionaryAssassins.
thank you stab but um.. do you just do it under a journal or what
To add fanfic on deviantART, click on the Submit menu and select Submit Art. Under Category choose Fan Art > Fan Fiction > General Fiction. Then you can either upload a previously written text file or open a text editor right on the site.
thank you stab
my new art works should be on deviant art tommorow

Maybe during summer I can use this topic for my OWN art like I originally planned. I feel so wasteful.

But I really don't wanna post a link to it here..
It's pretty cute, but VERY SLIGHTLY just enough NSFW to be not-cool.

A little deviant art muro practice.
Just awesome.
Ooooooooo I like that one, EA! Badass!
WOW! For some reason I couldn't see the picture until I quoted it.
Okay, now I see it. I probably just had to refresh the page.
That's pretty scary, EA. Good job!
Thanks guys.
I've actually been focusing on " Project T":
An series that I've been thinking out.
This is one of the first drawings i did for the project. Its a group pic of the three main characters. And from there I've been doing separate photos.

Yesssss, Joeyyy!
Man, you did great on that, that's VERY close to how I envisioned Ke'moil!
I actually didn't have a particular image in MIND for the City, but it looks great. I especially like the foreboding tower-like layout, where it's not like flat rooftops but giant skyscraper-like structures. The crescent-moon tower in particular definitely belongs there; considering my universe's focus on Light/Darkness.

Thanks! I've never been good at creating cities at this angle. I'm used to the point of view of looking down a road/street or characters IN the buildings themselves, but I drew the character first and kind of screwed myself over in that regard. I have a better idea on how to present it now, though. I might try again next time I get a chance.
