Changed my outfit to Simply Jacob with Steel Gray Color. It doesn't grant or take away any meaningful bonuses compared to what I was wearing before. This one just feels less clunky, and Jacob already controls like a big meatwad compared to Evie, so less clunky is better.
The Bank of England is surprisingly easy to infiltrate. I flirt with danger when one guard's Awareness Meter gets very close to detecting me. That was completely unnecessary, as I could've waited for him to pass before Roping up to the top ledge - but I felt like being a bit crazy. I leave mostly the same way I came in, except for choosing to showcase a pickable locked door and an easy window to jump out of for the escape. I really liked this mission, it's got a few entrances and exits, different levels of challenge depending on what kind of Opportunities you want to go for, and it's one of the few indoor environments that is actually pulled off decently well in my opinion.
This was the first Assassination since ACIII that I've actually WANTED to replay to find out some new things with it. Too bad the actual assassination doesn't give much creativity. The infiltration/exfiltration is fun though. I'm glad they brought back escaping in the recent games... no idea why they got rid of it in some earlier games.
That said, one thing I tried about 10 times and never got to work is the easter egg-like blend group. The "tour" that gets you through the restricted area. I never got past the rotunda with the blend group and am just hoping that that is not it. That it takes you further. Otherwise it's a wasted opportunity to have an ally in drag giving you and other a tour just to get somewhere you can easily get on your own with no problems. Additionally, the blend group fails more often than not due to getting strung out or bumping into other things then you are detected by the guards. Oh well.

Agreed. This Assassination is also my most-watched Syndicate video, interestingly enough. I'm pretty happy about the infil-exfil as well as you. It brings back a bit of that AC feeling, its spirit, in a way. About the Assassination not giving much room for creativity, I somewhat feel the same, and I think a lot of it is due to it (and many of them) being in in-door environments. I still think there's some room for creative stuff using the Rope Launcher, but I'll get to that a bit later ;D

I believe it is bugged, or at least didn't end up being implemented in an intelligent way. Like you said, the Player will ALWAYS be bumped out of Blendstate and they'll just get Exposed by the two Guards. Thankfully, Smoke Bombs are still as amazing as ever, so we can just skip that naughty bit of programming entirely! There hasn't been a single time that I've tried using that Blend group that it's gotten me anywhere useful, at all. I wish AC brought back autoWalk inside Blend Groups from AC2/B/Revelations and stuff, where when you walked into a Blend Group and you got the [hwoof...] sound effect + cyberspaghetti on the floor you would just autowalk with them and be basically set. That made sense.

Completely agree. It was never required (you could still move in the group yourself if you wanted), but I liked knowing that once I went into the group, my avatar was smart enough to stay in the group unless I told him to move.
