Holly! Dern you! Now everyone knows that you're my lover.
Ah futs, NOW they do...
I expected more responses to the news that hollyk12 was my "mysterious" girlfriend, but I guess not. Lol
I think you may have mentioned it before.
You're no fun, sir. :3
I'm fun for me.
Joey, I swear I've heard you mention it to stabby recently. That kind of kills any shock value you were going for.
Damn I suck. I remember mentioning she was here, but not exactly who she was. Ah well.
Actually I just assumed all along that she was your girlfriend.
Joey, I think you actually said it a few weeks after she joined the site. Plus, it was pretty easy to figure out since:
-A- You said she got you to watch Repo! a night after I saw you seeing on XBL.
-B- That little incident with adding her to my friends list.
Well so many people were guessing all at once on the "Last person to reply" forum, it seemed not as obvious as I thought. I knew SOME of you would think it through. Lol
*Awkward turtle*
Joey, I swear I've heard you mention it to stabby recently.
Joey didn't name names so I didn't either. Holly was the girl I had in mind. My biggest clue was when Joey spent his bottom dollar to go visit her.
We like to go places and I'm an awesome dude.

You're right. You two brought it up, and I remembered that he recently made a comment that he was going to be at Holly's house. I made the connect from there.
You so smart, GB.
Haha. Thanks. It takes a lot to figure out that you're trying to take over the world, one phone book at a time.
We also do internet ads now. We're everywhere.
One of my best friends is a salesman for you guys in Richmond, VA.
Tell him to read his e-mail about male enhancement. He'll know what it means.
(AC1 reference)
Is it something that went out to everyone in the company?

Spiderman, Cyborg (you know... BOOOOYAHHHHH), and Captain Underpants. I remember reading those books to my brother and we laughed our asses off every time.
I don't count Batman as a superhero. I never have. He doesn't really have any super-powers. At the end of the day he's just a really rich guy dedicated to fighting crime. He gets an honorable mention, though. Especially Batman: Beyond. That show was awesome.
Just because a hero doesn't have powers doesn't mean they're not a superhero. This is how I define a superhero: a person with unique skills that are capable of protecting those who can't protect themselves, whether directly or indirectly.
Technically, Altair and Ezio would fit my image of a superhero. Especially Ezio for landing on guard's backs from 8 stories high without even a sprained ankle every once in a while.
That's my definition of a hero (one of them, anyway). A superhero generally has a skill set that no other human would be able to acquire by normal means. I guess technically that would mean Cyborg isn't a superhero, considering his powers stem from being turned into a robot after a tragic football accident, but if that's the case then so be it.
Green Lantern uses the most powerful weapon in the universe, was a test pilot for the US Air Force, and he's still considered a "superhero".
MINE
1.SUPERMAN
2.BATMAN
3.HULK
Green Lantern uses the most powerful weapon in the universe, was a test pilot for the US Air Force, and he's still considered a "superhero".
what is that weapon anyway?
all i know is something about a magic ring, that may or may not be powered by the colour green
A Green Lantern is one of many peacekeepers in the universe. The ring is powered by the strength of a person's will (which is given the color green, almost like the universal energy - chi) and, therefore, ability to resist the weakening effects of fear (the color yellow). The stronger the will a being has, the more power one has with a Green Lantern ring.
Its power source comes from the "lantern" each member carries. It requires a person to recharge their ring every 24 hours, at least by reciting the Green Lantern oath. The Central Battery on the home planet of the Lanterns, called Oa (pronounced "oh-uh") is the foundation of all individual lanterns. Each of them derives their power from across galaxies to keep each member in working order at all times. It's not powered by thought, as most people think. Just think "save them" and exert your energy to the area in which you wish to produce a construct, like a giant hand to catch falling civilians, and you'll do so.
Green Lantern may be the only true hero, as he actually uses his willpower to defend those who can't defend themselves.
Does that make sense?
considering the only thing i know of comic book continuity comes from what Linkara tells me, what you just said made a surprising amount of sense
I did my best. If there are some parts that are just not getting through, I'd be happy to elaborate.
There are also new lanterns with other colors, such as Red (anger), Indigo (compassion), White (ability to give life/heal), etc.
1) Batman - A young playboy marked with a tragic childhood event, he made the conscious decision to got out at night, dressed up like a bat, and beat the pulp out of criminals. Equipped with dangerous gadgets and physical and mental perfection, he symbolizes a beacon of justice in the GCPD. Batman has transcended beyond the point of a man - he is a symbol. An icon.
2) Wolverine - Not you'r average corny superhero, this seasoned war veteran has a long history that every male - boy or man - can relate to. Ranging from first crush to war time trauma and from experimentation to finding inner peace, this man went through a lot.
3) Spider-man - The underdog. The guy who wants to prove himself. The guy where his social life is screwed. Every teenage boy can relate to him. That's what makes him so lovable.
