Winning the Chase Against Hope Jensen

During the assassination of Hope Jensen.
Setup
At the start of the chase, veer left to vault over the railing instead of running into the cloud of gas unleashed by Hope. An agile guard will try to tackle you, but you'll almost always make it over the railing before that can happen.
Once outside the gate, an assassin stalker hiding on a bench will come after you, so be prepared to assassinate. From there follow the target on ground instead of taking the rooftops, where you'll always be behind her. An agile guard might still be following you, in which case sleep dart him.
Take the path in the video to reach the haystack the target uses to transition to ground level. Keep in mind Hope's immune to ranged weapons until she stops running and goes into fight mode.
These speedrun talks tell me that I need more time.
Right now I'm actually watching the whole AC2 in Five Hours run from Fed. It just takes a while but I'm loving it.
On the other hand - I guess not - i found your video with basically the same assassination. It's reverse thing than - lack of research on Fed's part - so it was not in speedruns for so long.
Well it's just the discussion was about easy way of getting her - and that nobody can get her on the roof - although there is video how to get her on the roof. Also you may be interested to see doge's assassination in Fed's last AC2 Any% run in sequence 9 - i maybe wrong but i don't think the way he kills him was on this site - and it's the fastest blitz on him for sure.

People on this site seem not really eager to watch speedruns that being put here - even assassinations from them. Speedrun of this game link to which is on this site has much faster way to kill her than the one which is in this video - and it's very consistent. The only real way to fail it - is to get stopped by both assassin and agile.
The way I also did it was for style. Killing her right when she comes out of the haystack is like a reverse stunt. But you're right. I suck at watching speedrun videos.

I started playing Rogue a month or two ago, and I hated this mission. I'm not good at chases, and Hope is so damn fast that it took ages to catch her. If they'd allowed me some more freedom, I would have just rope-darted her to close the distance, but sadly the game restricts you from using most tools on her.

I did this mission a few times. I managed to kill her ON the rooftops. I wish I had saved a video of that. Oh well.

Speaking of which, the first time I assassinated her, it was by eventually racing ahead and climbing one of the buildings along her route (the building she ziplines to). For some reason she didn't use the zipline but stood there, and when I assassinated her there wasn't a memory corridor. I thought it had to do something
with getting ahead of her, but when I tried it again, she used the zipline. Might have been a rare glitch.
