and have anyone read any juicy revelations?

Of course there are details that would be extremely interesting, but the whole concept of leaking Classified Files puts lives unnecessarily in danger. Like the Chinese documents stating that they were unsure about North Korea. Now, China knows that the US knows that, and North Korea knows that its biggest ally may not be as good of an ally as they once might have thought (never quite know how NK is thinking).

Go back to Sun Tzu's Art of War, misinformation is the bread and butter of pre-emptive warfare and diplomacy. It is already severely hampered by the media blabbering every detail they discover, and it is ripped to pieces by Wikileaks. Wikileaks jeopardizes the whole picture, how can the government do anything effectively when it can't trust itself? (not that governments are ever truly efficient...)

It is extremely interesting to read summaries, but it isn't exactly a good thing because how many enemies are out there re-evaluating where they stand in the diplomatic rankings of the world?

Juiciest tid-bit I read was that some American officials believed that China may be willing to support (or at least not hinder) a South Korea take-over of North Korea (this is referenced in my first paragraph).

you could see it like that.

or you could see it like this: if the government does something bad, then the people have a right to be informed of it.
i don't see much difference between Wikileaks and a normal reporter who happens upon some heavy stuff

I completely agree with you on that. Sure, if the government does something really bad (genocide, breaches of Geneva Convention, breaking Nuclear treaties, breaking general UN behavior guidelines (I assume they have those?), etc), then this is good. But when it comes to details that could compromise the normal politics and espionage games between governments, they should keep a lid on it. Every country has a right to attempt to spy on the rest; and that is that country's job to figure that out.

then i wanna bring something up that downright pisses me off, that was released in wikileaks.

i recently found this, that basically proves what i've (and probalby many others) been thinking a long time; Sweden's government have become america's whor-*is slapped by PG-13 sign*- i mean lapdogs

http://www.iipa.com/rbc/2009/2009SPEC301SWEDEN.pdf

TL;DR "The United States Government is driving the creation of a Big Brother state in Sweden, including draconian data retention measures, in order to have it combat simple and everyday petty copyright infringements on behalf of American interests."

A checklist of demands was specifically sent to Sweden from the US and is behind everything bad that has happened since 2006 regarding Swedish copyright laws. Here it is:

- Adopt the copyright law amendments on injunctive relief against ISPs and a "right of information" to permit rights holders to obtain the identity of suspected infringers from ISPs in civil cases
- Prosecute to the fullest extent the owners of ThePirateBay
- Increase the prosecutorial and police manpower devoted to criminal Internet piracy enforcement
- Commence a national criminal enforcement campaign to target source piracy and large scale Internet pirates
- Ensure that rights holders may pursue the new civil remedies easily and quickly
- Take an active role fostering ISP-rights holder discussions to effectively prevent protected content from being distributed without authorization over the Internet

IPRED, FRA, the prosecution of the owners of The Pirate Bay, and a lot of other bad things is all a consequence of these demands. We've had our suspicions that the US government had a finger in it, now it turns out to be a whole arm. and as a Swede myself this just makes me sick
