Stabguy is going on vacation to 3 different cities. The purpose of this game is to correctly guess those places based on a series of clues that I'll offer. The winner will receive a gift from stabguy that he will pick up on his trip. Don't get too excited - it will be cheap. Here is some basic information and the rules:
-There will be 3 rounds of clues, one for each place that stabguy will visit, in the same order as his trip.
-Each round will last a few days. I'll start by offering a clue to the answer, and I'll continue offering new clues as needed to help things along.
-You can reply to this topic in order to ask questions, help others, or to lead them astray.
-Make a guess by sending me a PM.
-You can guess as many times as you want by sending me a new PM, but only your last answer will count.
-Pay attention to the point system for the round in order to maximize your score. My goal is to allocate points in a way to keep things interesting.
-Edit: I'll announce the correct answer at the end of the round, and I won't tell you if you are right or wrong until then.
-The person with the most points after 3 rounds is the winner.
-Some problems may seem impossible to solve, but I check to make sure that they are solvable by normal means.
-If you win, be prepared to share with stabguy a shipping address (home, office, or friend, for example) in order to receive the prize. If you are a minor, make sure that you have your parent's/guardian's permission to share an appropriate shipping address.
Round 1 - First clue!!!
You'll need luck finding stabguy among an estimated 616,000 other people!
Points... Subject to change at any time.
First guess, even if it's wrong: +100 points
Any guess, even if it's wrong: +100 points
Correct guess: +100 points
First correct guess: +100 points
For example, if you are the second person to make a guess, but your guess is the first to be correct, you will get 300 points (Any guess + Correct guess + First correct guess = 300).
I sent you a guess by PM, Ian. ~Redacted the second thing I said~
Ugh I totally skimmed that part of the rules >_>
I disqualify my answer to the first round!

I'm not sure what happened, but as far as I'm concerned, you are still qualified to make a guess. Just send me a PM.
sent you a few guesses... should i send them as individual PMs though? I made it clear what my actual answer at this point is though.
Just sent my guess. The only problem with the game is the winner sending Stab his address (not that he doesn't know all our addresses anyway).

What you did is fine. You made it clear what your guess was. Thanks!

It doesn't have to be your home address. It can be sent to your work place or a friend's house, for example.
I've added a clarification to the game rules:
I'll announce the correct answer at the end of the round, and I won't tell you if you are right or wrong until then.
So far, I've gotten responses from aurel, double mcstab, joey, lisa, patrick, and rob. Right now, three of them have a score of 200 points. The scores may change if someone changes his/her answer before the end of the round.
Others can still join the game! Just send me a guess by PM. This round will end around Thursday.

So no one has guessed correct... because otherwise they'd have 300 (any guess + correct guess + first correct guess).
Time to do some more digging.....
We're assuming no Animus, right? Otherwise he could be in 1950 North Dakota if he has relatives from there....

if i understand the chart right, atleast some of those has to be right.
if someone got any guess, and it's wrong it would just be 100. any guess that's right would be 200.
it could just be that Ian isn't telling us that someone got any guess + correct guess + first correct guess, in order to throw people off
I guess if it's 3 people have AT LEAST 200, it makes sense.
I thought he was saying that 3 people have EXACTLY 200.
I thought he was saying that 3 people have EXACTLY 200.
Yes, exactly 3 people have exactly 200 points. I make no mention of other scores.
Ha ha ha! You fools have no idea where I am. The loot is all mine. Don't try to follow me.
I'm at least 80% sure of where Stab currently is. He mentions the place in a comment from one of his vids.
Round 1 is over! Stabguy has left Seattle and moved on to the next city of his vacation.
Here are the standings so far:
Lisa - Acapulco. First guess + any guess = 200
Rob - Seattle. First correct + correct + any guess = 300
Double mcstab - Bishkek. Any guess = 100
Joey - Seattle. Correct + any guess = 200
Patrick - Acapulco. Any guess = 100
Aurel - Seattle. Correct + any guess = 200
I was pleasantly surprised to see so many people answer correctly when given so little information. I'm always curious to see how people got their answers, so I'll award 50 points to anyone who shares how they got to their answer, regardless of whether it was right or wrong. This offer expires in 3 days.
Round 2 will start soon.
google... locations with population 616,000... not sure why i didn't go with the obvious Seattle. haha

Google. I searched something like "U.S. cities 616,000 estimated population". The first city to show up was Seattle. There was a link to a site that had the populations of U.S. cities for 2010 and 2011, and Seattle seemed to be the one closest to an estimated 616,000. Also Stabguy mentioned Seattle in a comment from The Nine Lives of Dante Moro when he told us where he got one of the songs from.

I hope Stab had fun rocking with the Heats in Seattle!

You're actually surprised that we are also good at stalking/tracking people?
Google, as well. Seattle wasn't at the top of the list. There was one city in Idaho or something, but Seattle seemed like the most "vacation-y" type of place for someone to go. Just using common sense.
Yeah, I just Googled 'population 616,000'.
I'm sure I cam across Seattle at some point but dismissed it as the population differed on different sites and I wasn't sure enough.

No one vacations to Boise.

i Googled something along the phrase "USA cities population"
that brought up a list, the problem was that the first lists i found were only updated to 2010, that almost made me guess wrong.
then i added "2012" to the phrase and got a right list that showed Seattle
i think this is hilarious:

While the Space Needle may be the most recognized landmark in Seattle, my favorite attraction at Seattle Center is the Pacific Science Center. A year round museum of science and home to two IMAX theaters, the Science Center also hosts traveling exhibits. They're currently offering "Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs" until January 6, 2013. Now, I had seen the King Tut exhibit in Seattle back in 1978 (when I was just a stabboy) but the new exhibit brought an entirely different set of artifacts...
These delicate gold sandals were on the feet of Tutankhamun's mummy. Here is one of the pair of quartzite statues of King Tut found at the site of the funerary temple of his high officials. Originally standing 17 feet tall, the upper 10 feet is all that remains. This gold burial mask of King Psusennes I was in pristine condition. Finally, this alabaster piece created in King Tut’s likeness once covered a canopic jar containing his mummified organs.
