The finale was epic.
I didn't get the chance to watch all of the episodes live but I did DVR them. I finally watched them a few weeks ago and was blown away by them. Have any of you read the comic/graphic novels?
I need to start reading the books, but there are so many and I won't have time. My brother has been hyping it for me, so that's why I even considered watching the show.
I've read the first 12 volumes of the series and believe me it's worth the time.
I think that'll be a personal project for me this summer.
I've read the walking dead all the way up to Volume 60. One thing I loved about the Series is how they really brought the characters to life, even in the Actor's appearances. They really hit my idea of them spot on and even made the comic itself more exciting to read.
As for following the story line, I'm not sure. They did a really great job in some parts, other parts I was like "Who is that", and then when they tried to EXPLAIN the epidemic and really went off the track to the books, I was had a pretty big "WTF" moment. The finale disappointed me because of that, but I'm excited for the next season. 6 episodes is not enough to even scratch the surface of the whole Walking Dead saga. But I guess they needed some kind of hook.
the show started here a few weeks ago, last weekend it was episode 3.
was i the only one who got creeped out when the zombies killed the horse in the first episode?

Well... from what i've read, they are working on a Season 2, also from what i've read it'll have about 100 episodes. 
EDIT: I read this on January of this year, i'm maybe wrong, but anyways, this is what i remember.

A lot for just 1 season would be something like 20 episodes for any show. Loved the show, though. I really need to read the books.

I bought the game on a Steam sale but can't bring myself to get past the first chapter. I tend to hate games where you have to choose every line of dialogue your character speaks. They never have the choices I want and it absolutely kills the pacing.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get through it. Everyone says that the story is great, so I'll probably just watch a walkthrough on YouTube.
