YESSS, We got Noble and Altair Armor...!!!
YES, Citizen Ezio
And gun upgrade
Doesn't matter much. At least the Aiming time for guns reduced 2 seconds
I know these actions are completed throughout the game pretty much automatically but why do we have to unlock Altair's armour and Altair's outfit again?
I want them to get more creative with the outfits next time. We've seen these before. Throw in a Splinter Cell costume or something.

A modern-day style Assassin's outfit would be cool. Something similar to the outfit out of Prototype.
Hey! What about a Desmond skin (with the new, red-lined hoodie of course)?! That would be so cool but I can't help thinking Ubi want to save playing as Desmond for specific parts of AC:B and ACIII
Cesare Borgia skin, guys
I would give anything to have a Renaissance-inspired Batman skin.
Either that, or Jacapo (as a joke).
This is extremely disappointing. The fact that you need uplay points to upgrade your gun capacity tells me the bullet pouch is staying at six. That pouch is gonna drain pretty damn quick with all of those kill animations in place. Bad move, Ubi, I would have expanded the bullet pouch to 25 at least with the uplay points, with a max of maybe 20 or so for regular gameplay. Expect outcry and bitching on the ubi forums once the game releases.
Actually I was hoping for Uplay having a reward to unlock another exclusive map in AC:B....
Like the Auditore Family Crypt that u can unlock in AC2

Still waiting for my Thane Krios(ME2) skin for AC.
I hope they make some more Uplay actions for AC:B because the ratio of actions:rewards seems a little skewed. I know they wanna get you to play more Ubi games but TBH these actions all seem pretty easy, they need some more challenging ones.

Nice idea!
And now we can get gun upgrade! i always wanted to have more bullets in my "pocket".

True that. On other games you can earn enough action points to gain all rewards which is good if you only have the one Ubi game. I WILL NOT play Pure Football to get these AC:B Rewards

I agree with this too. 20-25 bullets would be ideal as it would mean you wouldn't use the gun ALL the time but you wouldn't have to keep refilling the pouch either. Its not like having just 6 prevents you buying any more. All it will do is mean we have to keep returning to the blacksmith which is just gonna get ridiculously annoying. Such a waste of effort and time for only 6 bullets
Maybe you actually have to press a separate button for the gun. That seems the most likely. Either that, or maybe shooting in combat won't actually use any of your bullets, so no one could get frustrated (I know it's not realistic, but in gameplay, that makes sense).

I'm not sure there's a way for the game to differentiate between shooting in close combat and shooting a single target while locked on. Although it could tell the difference bwtween anonymity and exposure so if you were shooting from afar bullets would be used but if you'd been seen that wouldn't. Is that kind of what you mean?

So there won't be enough actions in ACB to buy all of the ACB rewards, you have to play other Uplay games
Cheap move, Ubi, real cheap.

Found out what the bastards are doing to us! Turns out that the missing action points can be earned
a) in other Ubi games
b) in Project Legacy (Facebook Game)
Lucky for me, I'm playing Project Legacy. I knew there was a reward for playing it but this is a crap. Its something I expected to be able to earn within AC:B anyway
this is why i never bothered with uplay to begin with.
it's just annoying.
in AC2 atleast it was just cosmetic stuff to unlock, but now that you'll need it to get more ammo, that's just annoying
I was just thinking that they could use a "shooting button" if you ever wanted to use it in combat. Maybe hit X, X, Y (360) to do SLASH, STAB, SHOOT once you have your combo string going.
Wouldn't that give AC some sort of a Hack N' Slash vibe? Maybe bullets won't count as used when in the middle of the combos, it will take some reality from the gameplay, yet it will make sense, gameplay-wise.

31s into the video, he uses a Hidden Pistol finisher in the Sword combo, and it does not use any bullets (6 before, 6 after), but this was in VR, so not sure if that makes a difference.
Just saw:
-speaking of CQC hidden gun, does using the gun or knives in combos lower your respective ammo for the weapon? it should IMO
-UbiGabe: It does use up ammo when you use Hidden Gun or Throwing Knife combos.
So, maybe it was just VR... Or there is a difference between combos and finishers....?
I'm guessing its just for the VR seeing as its a kind of training mode. The world is virtual so the weapons/ammo are too. But only in VR by the looks of things
You have to play other Ubi games just to have enough points? These points shouldn't even be in the games to begin with; they break immersion. (Doubly! They distract you from being in the game's world, which itself consists of Desmond "playing" his own virtual reality!)
That does sound really weak. Can you at least play AC2 a second time and re-acquire the points that you spent to get the Altair stuff? I got 10 points for doing something just now in my second go-round.
How about playing other versions of Ubi games? I've got half a mind to buy the Japanese ACII just to see how they translated everything.
I don't know why everyone's so bent outta shape about this. Half of the rewards in AC:B are just cosmetic stuff, the only one that really matters is the hidden gun upgrade. That and the Hellequin(which probebly don't care about unless you'll be playin a lot of multiplayer) totals 70 points which you should easily get by playing through the game once.
I don't know why you'd want the wallpaper since it only applies to the website it's not an in-game reward. If you really wanna get ALL of the rewards for AC:B then you don't have to BUY any other Ubi games, you can just rent em for the points. Simple as that.

9:05, he uses the Hidden Pistol in a combo in a Lair of Romulus, and he loses no ammo.
???
TBH I'm only going off what other people are saying. There's conflicting statements here so whats the deal, from those who have already played the game?

I am just saying that Gabe is contradicting what some people are showing in their videos.

Already played and the bullet count does not deplete when it is used in the middle of a killstreak, any other action will count as a used bullet. This counts for both, VR and Rome gameplay. The same applies to the crossbow.

You can get a Desmond skin in AC: Brotherhood. It's not a Uplay reward, it's just a regular gameplay unlock. I think you get it by Full Synching Sequence 8. That's what I did.. and I got it.
Alright, this is going to seem like a dumb question, but I've completed the game and DLCs. I just registered for UPlay tonight. How do I redeem the UPlay points that I've earned from ACII and AC:B?

In UPlay, the same area that you see your "Actions" there is a "Rewards" tab. Click on that, and make sure you redeem for the right console.
Do I need to do this online or through the PS3?

I know you can do it at the uplay website (uplay.ubi.com I believe), no clue if you can reach UPlay through the PS3; if so, it would be at the ACB main menu (that is where it is on the PC version).
Thanks for your help.
I think you can do both. And of course if you've redeemed some of your points for an item like a wallpaper or theme, you'll need to download it to your PS3 via the Uplay section within the game on your PS3
