The Hidden Blade Assassin's Creed in Depth

Hi and welcome!

Basically you sign up for Uplay and, when you complete particular actions in the game, you will earn Uplay points for that action. You need the Uplay account to store the points and enable you to redeem them for different rewards.

The Uplay Actions for AC: Brotherhood are:

• Technical Difficulties - Attempt to access DNA Sequence 9 for the first time (10 points)
• Perfectionist - Earn 3 Gold Medals from the Animus Virtual Training Program (20 points)
• Deja Vu - Replay a Memory (30 points)
• A Knife to the Heart - Secure the Apple of Eden (40 points)

The rewards are:

• AC Brotherhood Wallpaper (-10 points)
• Florentine Noble Attire (-20 points)
• Armour of Altair (-20 points)
• Altair's Robes (-20 points)
• Gun Capacity Upgrade - Increase gun capactiy to 10 bullets (-30 points)
• Unlock the Hellequin (-40 points)

You may notice that there are more Rewards than available Actions so if you only play Brotherhood, you can't 'buy' all of the rewards. This is new to Brotherhood and in older games (ACII, PoP: TFS etc.) you can earn enough points within the one game to buy all the rewards that go with that game.

However, Uplay points are not tied to each game and can be spent on any reward from any Uplay-enabled game. For example, if you've played ACII but don't fancy purchasing the Extra Throwing Knives reward, you could save those points and use them to buy, say, the Florentine Noble Attire from AC: Brotherhood.

The only way to buy all the rewards from AC: Brotherhood is to use points from another game or play Assassin's Creed Project Legacy on Facebook where you can earn extra Uplay points, as the number of points needed for all the rewards is more than can be earned within Brotherhood

You need to register with Uplay to actually earn the points (even if it says Uplay Action completed in the game) -

If you're going to play Project Legacy on Facebook to earn points you'll also need to link your FB account with your Uplay account, as well as linking your Brotherhood game save with Project Legacy to earn extra florins, XP etc.

I use Uplay a lot. The rewards aren't really worth real money but the're cool to buy with points that I've earned simply while playing a game

thanks for the tips! i registered on uplay and it says i have 60 credits but when i scroll over to "shop" it says coming soon, is that normal?

In the Win section, it is in Rewards.

Yeah the shop will be for real purchases with real money, I presume but for rewards you go to Win and find the relevant game

I haven't got my mits on brotherhood yet, but I can't wait to go original; I'll buy Altiar's robes then outfit that with a bare crossbow with no armour. Just like the AC1 trailer
