Not only that, there was a chat box where you could ask questions and direct the gameplay. Calvar requested they do a stunt assassination from a tree (Connor was right above the target) and UbiGabe didn't know what that meant. What a loser! He needs to come to THB and read up on the advanced techniques before he hosts another demo.

Yeah, it was hilarious hearing UbiGabe say "What the hell's a stunt assassinate?" Made me laugh so hard.

And once we'd told him, he totally blew it, lol.

Even in all those screenshots, all I see are dead British and alive Colonists....

That would be a valid complaint if
#1: these screenshots were taken from various different missions in the game
#2: if that were true. (You can see dead colonists in some of them)

He's fighting with the cononist's this mission, which is why he's not killing them. They've assured us that this will not always be the case. Until we've seen the whole game, we can't be sure how many times the situation will be reversed. Remember, no-one's actually american, yet. If that makes you feel any better.

I'm fully aware. And I'm also aware that they are selling the game and demoing it in BOSTON. Wouldn't want to try to sell the game to Bostonians with the situation reversed.

I believe there will be a good mix of deaths on both side for Conner. And I can't wait.

Hmm, I forgot about that. Could definitely have had something to do with it. Although I don't think it would have been that big a deal if they had had an anti-colonist mission.

I wouldn't care, honestly. There are tons of games that take place in America where you kill Police forces. It's virtual, anyways. People are too uptight about it.

Also, is anyone else tuning in again tonight for the Far Cry 3 interview? I'm really excited about this game but after we found out pretty much nothing about ACIII I'm not sure there's any point.

I haven't been a Far Cry fan (I liked the games, but haven't played much of them). I'm just in it for AC3.

Fair enough. I've only played Far Cry 2 and, despite the obscene amount of driving, walking and malaria medicine taking required, I love it. A lot of people were put off by these rather tedious tasks but, for me, the gameplay and varied environment are enough to make it a great game and, although there is perhaps a bit too much travelling involved, it gives you a great chance to see the landscape.

For those of you who saw it, what kind of gameplay was shown?

The crap sort. As in the sort where there wasn't any.

No, it was great! Especially when Connor was running through the trees...and when I say Connor, I mean UbiGabe. And when I say "running through the trees", I mean being asked questions we've known about for weeks. And when I say "it was great", I mean, it was a waste of time.

Is it just me or do those screenshots look a little bland and washed out, with the outfits appearing very plain and all the colours looking a bit dull? I'm guessing it's the quality of the images rather than the actual graphics.
