Basically just post your likes and dislikes for the Multiplayer... xD
I know not many have it, but some should be playing it today... ^^;

One thing that annoys me is the people bitching about the gun, they say it's for noobs and morons but somehow I feel like it's mostly bitching from people who like to run around the rooftops all day long... >_>;

I personally use the gun when I find my target Heading further, and me wanting to avoid having my pursuer jumping me after I Assassinate him... xP
Plus it's nice dropping guys from rooftops and then quickly blending with the crowd... =|

It gives you 100 points, but it does give you way more if certain requirements are met like shooting them in mid-air which gives ya another 100... xD

That's basically my beef about it, I'll leave the rest of you guys post yours when you play it later today... :3

Im a 360 player, so I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I still dont like the compass shows your pursuers exactly where you are, whats the point of trying to be stealthy then? I hope theres a game mode with it disabled for everyone.

Thanks to SBIzokronus for the fantastic sig!

I haven't played it, but I've seen people play on Youtube. Mostly with commentary, so I can tell what they're thinking of the game itself. It looks as if the controls would feel a little different (more sensitive?) because I've seen many freerunning slip-ups, even when they're just starting the match and no pressure of a pursuer is on them.

Vhan, have you experienced any of this?

Personally, I think the compass is fine, but I agree that it's a little too specific. Maybe they should tweak it a little bit so you'd have to search more for your target.

A game mode I was hoping for included a large map that had no compass to guide you to your target. Each player would have the assigned multiplayer skins, but the crowds of people would consist of NPC skins. You'd really have to be patient and strategize each of your moves before you attack. Sure, the player skins would be different, but from a distance they look like everyone else (they'd have to create similar skins for NPCs so it wouldn't be too obvious).

Honestly, that's what I thought "WANTED" was going to be. Maybe it could be like Left 4 Dead 2's "Realism Mode".

Just downloading the Beta now but I also think the compass will be too specific.

Inevitably, your pursuer will find you and that kind of bugs me. I'd love to be able to remain unseen for a whole match but that can probably only be done with lots of luck. TBH, I wouldn't be good enough to do that anyway but the compass means there's almost no chance Stare

Something else that annoys me about some things people complain about is the whole "getting assassinated while they were assassinating someone", this seems rather childish to complain about in my opinion... >=/

We Assassins are hunters, and one known hunting technique is striking the pray when he is most vulnerable, when he is striking his own pray... Tongue
I've been a victim of this myself, but I'm not complaining cause they hunted me well by striking when I was busy with my own pray... xD

Can't say that I have, controls seem to be okay for me... o.O
It could be people are nervous, unlike playing with Ezio your playing against other human beings who themselves in nature are unpredictable at times... xD;

That's where blending helps, especially if you blend with a group that has two NPC's at least so that when your pursuer catches up to you, he won't be getting you...

Also, once you blend with a group the controls become automatic so it's nearly impossible to distinguish who is the real you unless you move out of the group which by then your pursuer would either taken the bait and killed a civilian or had his own pursuer kill him leaving you to move on... :3

Later on when you get Morph you no longer need to find a group as you can easily find any moving crowd and use it among them leaving you 5 clones of you at least... xD
Of course, there is a method of countering this...

I just played my first session and failed at blending.

Still, 4 kills and only 2 deaths meant I finished 3rd. Not bad IMHO Big smile

I just need to practise blending a bit more. Also, I only free-ran once in the whole match Tongue

Now I'm waiting for a new session to load as only 5 players can be found Stare

Also, the only way to get friends to be invited to you is to have them out of the game before you invite them, if they are in the menu area in the game the invite won't work, so do remember this when inviting someone... :3

So what have you found to be the best strategy?

Is the idea to hide when you acquire a pursuer, wait until they get close, stun them and than carry on hunting? At the moment I've just been walking around trying to be stealthy and killing my targets quickly but, of course, getting killed quite a bit too. So far I've only managed three stuns Tongue

Share your ideas and strategies! Big smile
