ubi updated their assassinsnetwork website this morning (https://assassinsnetwork.ubi.com) to include not only a profile and competition tabs, but also a clans tab to create, join, and search for clans.
I know people on here play multiplayer, just thought you should be aware of the option. Maybe someone who plays a lot of multiplayer here (Joey? others?) can start a clan on the site and include the information here for others to request membership as they get into multiplayer modes more and more.
Not only that.... but if you start one soon, we can be the FIRST clan formed on the network.
EDIT: looks like they keep track of combined single player stats as well... we should get in on this... I don't think I should start it, maybe someone like Stabguy can create the official THB clan.
I'll join if someone else makes it.
I will make one for PS3 as im pretty active atm, I really hope others are more active than last time though
im all for it on xbox gotta get my lv up today a bit first
I'm a PC player, I don't know when I will have the game but I will most definitely try the multiplayer this time.
Can you play multiplayer without playing through single player?
Also, how does this level thing work? You create a character that will level up with time, and you will play against players of similar level?
And can you create a new character later, and start at the first level?

That's good to hear al-Assas
Yes, you can play multiplayer without starting singleplayer. They don't really affect each other at all.
Leveling works like this;
Every time you get a kill or score an objective in a match, you get points. Whoever has the most points is in 1st and wins, of course. But these points are the literal and exact amount of Core/Base XP you get from that match (not including Challenges or Accolades). The stealthier/higher quality kills, the more you'll win. So there are two ways to level up to a high level; Spend a lot of time, or just be very good.
I don't think you can create a new character later, but level really doesn't mean much other than your number.
ACIII puts you with players of equal skill level, not Abstergo Level (determined by hidden systems and things like Win/Loss/Stealth/Expose etc.
I've gotten 1400 Point kills on players who were 3rd Prestige (basically leveled to 200) while I was at level 12.
I'm not even GOOD at multiplayer :/
Thanks!
ACIII puts you with players of equal skill level
And what if I want to play with my friends? Can we choose to be in the same game and in the same team in the game modes that have teams?
And what about deathmatch? Can we get into the same game in deathmatch?
Thanks!DarkAlphabetZoup wrote:

Yes, to all of the above. I'd actually recommend playing with friends, it's a much better experience, especially in team-based modes.
Cool! Can't wait.
Maybe someone like Stabguy can create the official THB clan.
Done! Here's the public page of the official THB clan.
I sent out a few invitations to THB members but it's not letting me send any more right now - not sure why. Anybody who wants to join can send a "join request" to the clan. I'll accept requests from any member of this site.
I think Rob would like my emblem...

Do clans have a fixed size? Limited membership? I've never done anything similar, which is why I never started anything yesterday.
Is 1366x768 enough for multiplayer? Would a higher resolution make it easier to recognize character types that are at a distance?
Pretty sure it's enough. With the way Assassin's Creed multiplayer works, you don't really need to recognize things at a distance, and if you do need to, it means they're Sprinting around like an idiot (and the Animus will Reveal them to you anyway).

For Revelations the maximum clan size was 4 or 5, which made it useless for a site like THB. I now see several clans with 8 members. That may be the new limit.
So far only Joey has joined the THB clan. If you don't know how to send a join request, ask him.
If it's only 8, I think I'll have to prove my worth first, haha.
sent in my request to join.
Accepted you and James. I think we still have 3 openings in the clan.
