the revelations version of borgia towers...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW7fO58X0F8&feature=feedu

ok so if you did'nt get that now not only will you have to burn the tower but also defend it .... sounds pretty difficult if you ask me

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

After the fail known as Brotherhood, AC fans were screaming for more difficulty. I'm looking forward to this

If there's anything Brotherhood did right, its the Borgia Tower concept. Fitting in with the theme of taking power away from the corrupted, its a nice distraction from your main story line. It also gave us players a sense of the unknown, as you don't know whether the Borgia Captain is programmed to fight or run, and as a result, you have to approach him in a more stealthy manner.

I'm not sure if the "defending" concept will work. What happens if you're on a mission and a small menu pops up that says: you have to defend your Assassin Den! What happens if you have to travel across the entire map of Constantinople just to save your den? Will you be able to use ziplines, horses, or underground sewers similar to Rome?

Perhaps Templars will only attack when you're just free-roaming.

It would be too frustrating if it happened during a mission. I guarantee they won't do that. Like Arrrogance said, it will most likely occur during free roam mode.

I love the idea of just running around, doin my thing. When I get a notification my Assassin Tower is under attack! Time to run across Constantinople to save it.

Ok Arrogance you're just showing off now with those signatures. Big smile

Back to topic, I'm still not sure about how to feel about this. It reminds me so much of GTA: SA but then, I was never really a fan of that feature, although I could just leave the area to its own luck and re-capture it later. Are there any penalties if the tower gets captured?

What they should do is have Templars attack each tower differently than before. For example, you take over a tower. You do a few story missions and it's attacked by a small group of soldiers. After defending it for the first time, they come back at a later date with more soldiers/firepower. If the first group just came with swords and/or crossbows/rifles, the second should come with more guards that also have bombs or something, possibly surrounding the area, with a possibility of being flanked as you seem to be winning.

If you get there too late, but made sure to get there as fast as possible, you should get a second chance stealth mission section, freeing your fellow Assassins who are temporary prisoners. This only being if you made the attempt to arrive, rather than ignoring it.

My ideas. Most likely won't be in Revelations, though. :/

It would make for a great achievement/trophy. There'd have to be a limit. Maybe 5 increasingly hard defense modes for each tower. If you're able to get to the last attack by the Templars on a tower and beat it, you'd get an achievement/trophy.

It would have to be incredibly difficult. Maybe a mini-army attacking the tower. Here are some free-form ways to tackle the situation:

1. Eliminate the commanding officer(s) stealthily, kill the surrounding soldiers, let one live to tell the rest to retreat.

2. Take all of them head-on.

3. If they have a weapon such as a cannon (maybe some ships are on the sea side of a tower near the docks), you can stealthily take out all guards on that ship and use the weapon to rattle their formations.

Basically the E3 demo, but no story. You show up, you're only told "Defend the Tower", and you do whatever you think is best.

UbiGabe, I'm talking to you!!

Hahaha, Graphics is my hobby Tongue

I think it would be a cool idea, is if when your Tower is being attacked and you are away, when you arrive, there are already Assassins there defending it.

but what if your assassins are'nt skilled enough to fight them off and they die because they need your help

That's why you'd have to go help them. If they die, they die honorably. And because you either ignored them or didn't arrive in time.

Perhaps raising your Assassin's levels will actually have a direct effect on the game itself. Should a Tower be attacked while you are far away, your Assassins need to be skilled enough to hold their own until you arrive

When you're across the city, you can choose to control your assassin's in an RTS style mini-game, or even leave them for themselves, where the battle is decided by chance.

I'm fairly sure they already confirmed that you could assign assassin recruits to defend your towers. I can't seem to find it though... Puzzled

Inconspicous: because nobody suspects the guy with all the weapons

Yeah, I remember that too. They said if you install someone raised to the rank of master assassin to a den and leave him/her there, then it won't be attacked.

"Now you shall get an earful of my beloved sword! Behold, Pillow Talk! Let's rock, baby!"

I thought it said that you just wouldn't have to worry about it. Like, it'll be attacked, but a high-ranking Assassin is there to do your job for you.

Perhaps you can set up your Assassin's strategies. You can have higher-ranking Assassin's push forward on offence, and lower-ranking Assassin's stay back on defence, incase any Templars slip by. Different strategies could result in how long your Assassins can hold out before you can get there

They were planning on doing something like that with the recruit missions to other cities, so why not to the Towers?

Sounds like a waste of a new feature if your assassins do the job. I wouldn't mind at all if the whole recruit system was wiped from AC, but its optional so I guess il stop here.

I hope that you can replay these dens, Borgia towers were my favourite part of ACB. I still have 3 more videos to release, almost each tower has some weird buggy exploit as well.

I believe that if you take over the den but don't post a group of Assassins/Assassin leader to defend it, it will be retaken by the Templars once again, provided you don't run over an defend it yourself. So, in effect, you can keep replaying the dens with command constantly changing between you and the Templars.

I think this is correct, anyway Smile

hey i'm maybe wrong but i remember that they said the towers will only be attacked when your not incognito you know when the assassin sign is red so if they auditory cape or such comes back they wouldn't be attacked

ooh and they said that you can place assassins at a tower so you wouldn't have too think about the tower

No, the high ranking assassin being there means it literally will never be attacked. Like, the assassin makes sure that no byzantine troops even make it into that part of the city.
