Im pretty dissapointed. I somehow took over all the dens without realising it. I looked at my map, yep, all of them done. They are all structured pretty much exactly the same, and if you make the slightest mistake you are screwed, the entire area knows where you are.
Anyway, what are your opinions on this? Personally I felt Brotherhood had so much more variety than this.
I really didn't appreciate the castle defense.
Brotherhood's Borgia Towers did indeed have more variety.
I would have liked to have that kind of varied mission structure.
I was fine with Den Defense, I felt it was sort of a punishment for getting your Awareness too high.
I dont mind den defence either really, its a nice change from the gameplay.
But the actual assassination of the templar captains imo was pretty poor, they are right in the open and are way too easy to reach. Brotherhood did a good job of making them hard to get to.
they were fun i still have two more to do. i hate defending the dens its stupid
I thought they were good, but they were extremely difficult to do flawlessly, mainly due to those turret encampments with gunmen in them. Those guys HURT.
I like the gunmen in the little housings. They give the player even more of a challenge. If the regular guards make me scared to fight them, the developers are doing it right.
Im not really sure about those gunmen, they are really starting to piss me off when going for a stealth kill. They seem to see me through walls all the time, from miles away. They are alerted instantly and for some reason guards from miles away will come rushing.
However I am enjoying the challenge, I have to really scope out the entire area and pick a very good route. I already have some ideas for some videos.
Also I encourage you guys to get creative with bombs when taking out targets, I just took out a captain from the top of a viewpoint, was pretty cool.
I really REALLY hate those gunmen, all nestled up in their little towers. If i get within 10 meters of them and i'm not in a blend group they spot me instantly.
I agree that Brotherhood had more variety with the Boria towers but it's still satisfying when you manage to kill the captain and light the tower without being seen.
