Unlike Garnier, I have decided not to show me traveling around the whole city to avoid spooking the crowd. My route inside is my favorite way, you don't need to kill a guard or use priests to get passed the guard post, and no one screams when you land ( although someone did see me climb up).

Just wondering, is jumping backwards off the ladder faster than stabs way in his blitz video? I was wondering because Altair climbs up during the cutscene, saving you some time

The vigilantes at the end of the souk may not be necessary to land the air assassination, and if Talal runs straight instead of turning left like he did it should be much easier to air assassinate him while he is running, but I couldn't record it as he stopped going straight after that. Hope you enjoy, next up will be Majid Adin.

Also, does anyone know if all fleeing targets run to a guard post? I tried setting up something cool but it didnt look very stylish, if you get closer than 15m he fights you, and you lose health while he waits for you to come. It is by a view point, maybe an eagle strike might be possible, you could get there early and climb up. However at one point even though he was 15m away, he started boosting it back to the guard post

Yes, because it allows you to progress during the cutscene. I'm the one who told Ian about this so I like to think of both as "stab's way". Wink

It looks like you've found another reliable way to prevent Talal from reaching the ground. Is the "hop" move at the end the key? The free running air to assassinate out of the souk was another goal of mine that I never accomplished. It may be hard to land the air without the vigilantes because of the glitch with sprinting targets (see my Jubair video).

In AC1 they do (except for Maria after she's spared). Talal runs to a viewpoint. I considered doing a stunt from it but Ian discouraged me, due to the way Talal sprints and fights at the guard post.

You won't even feel the blade.

Yeah i would have planned something but suddenly the numbers started going down fast and I realised he was no longer walking. Im kinda pissed at those vigilantes, I dont know whether I would have made the jump or not if they werent there, but then again if its impossible at least I was able to do it thanks to them.

Also for getting him before he jumps off the roof you dont have to jump as far as I was, I realised he doesnt run until you are under 15m away so you can jump onto the scaffold in your video and then climb up onto the same roof. As for that glitchy jump I have no idea wtf happened there lol but it helped me get a sick stationary high profile kill on him.

Beautiful!

I usually just exit at the south gate, go around, enter at the west entrance, and then he runs right at me on the roof. That's the easiest way of killing him before he touches the ground.

But this one is really cool.

Nicely done! Can't wait for the next one. I usually fail at making something good out of this. Tongue
