This thread is inspired by my "Music video that reminds me of assassins creed" topic on the old forum. If you are on this forum, it is pretty much a given you are more than a casual fan of assassins creed, therefore you may be like me and seeing assassins creed everywhere, this thread is discussion of things you see which remind you of our favourite game!
When I was a little kid, one of my favourite Disney's films was The Rescuer's Down Under, a cutesy tale of cartoon mice helping a kid called Cody stop a poacher. I felt some nostalgia the other day and found this on Youtube:

0:14 to 0:33....Longest Eagle's dare ever! Post how it affects you!
I've developed an extreme addiction to eavesdropping whenever I sit down in public places (bus, subway, park, starbucks, etc.). This habit has led me to discover the best, and worse, in people. And it all started after I beat Assassins Creed. Don't worry, I've yet to pickpocket or violently pulverize anyone and don't plan on it
That is EXACTLY what I've been doing!!! Ever since I beat Assassin's Creed for the first time about a month ago, I've been listening in on people's conversations while going to my locker.
And I've always loved climbing things (mostly trees), but I've been noticing place that would be perfect for climbing for Altair/Ezio.
This probably isn't healthy...
When I was 13 I remember going to my younger brother's soccer game (not the most exciting place because he was only 5) and got bored so I looked for something to do. I climbed up onto the roof of the school which was four stories high and fell asleep, and I only got up there by parkour means, and I didn't even know parkour. Assassins Creed wasn't even out yet, but I just thought I should mention that.
Parkour is a fancy term for what most of us kids used to do for fun. Just like the game says, someday they will attach a fancy term to it.
As many of you. I tend to eavesdrop people's conversations when I'm sitted, and sometimes when I'm wearing hoods, I tend to walk just like Altäir or Ezio on fast walk. Maybe videogames do not make people want to kill each other or bend the common sense of kids like every father fears. Maybe these are the real effects of videogames?
I just do it to humor myself
It mainly affects me when I'm watching movies... The other day I was watching Troy, thinking, "Wow, that building would be simple to climb" or thinking about how someone should assassinate the king guy - can't remember his name lol.
I tend to reference alot of scenes in movies with AC. After 10 hours of playing AC and having to go to Walmart, I'm seriously tempted to 'gently' shove the old slow people out the way though...I really have to do a reality check when back out in public...hehe.

Yes because overexposure to Assassins Creed can lead to thoughts of climbing on roofs and jumping on people (insert eye-roll emoticon here)

Yeah, its called the Bleeding Effect
Hey guys, I've been looking at this forum for a while.
But I saw this topic, and it tempted me to post my... experiences.
So, when I'm outside, I look at buildings a lot.
Sometimes I'll say "Oh, that's a nice building." Not for its architecture or its aesthetics, but for how good of a Viewpoint it would make.
I eavesdrop on people as well, and hear some dumb stuff that they say, but sometimes it's interesting.
When walking around school and there is a huge crowd of people (usually right after it ends and everyone is in the hallway for their locker business) I gentle push like a madman. My friends (who are hardcore AC fans as well) were walking down such a people-littered hallway and didn't see me. I "pretend" assassinated them at the same time, and they didn't see me or anything until the last moment, then they started laughing.
Sometimes, I will "feel" that certain teachers have a "red" aura or something around them.
Finally, when I was playing AC 1 and went to school the next day, I told my friends that "So, hey, hey, I was running through JERUSALEM the other day, and then this guard-"
My friend interrupts me by saying "That's really not how you should be starting a sentence, or someone might be like 'So THAT'S where you've been!"
Uhh yeah. I think the Bleeding Effect is affecting me a bit too much. YES!
^hahaha that was a great post.
i dont suffer much from the bleeding effect, but i saw a bit of disneys robin hood the other day and caught myself checking the king richards castle for grasping points.
LOL yeah. Always happens to me when I'm watching movies that are like.. epic.
Or during a movie with conspiracies I'll suddenly go: "YA KNOW, THA HASHASHIN WERE REAL! THEY PROBABLY STILL ARE!"
and I usually get a "Shut up haha".
Classic.
My next one is again a song but it's a bit of a cheat as it didn't remind me of AC per say, more that it was in my playlist of songs I was listening to whilst playing AC, but when it came on, it seemed to fit perfectly.
Italobrothers- Stamp on the ground
Yay for dance/trance/techno/elektro/hard trance/electronic music!
There is a song by motorhead called "When the Eagle Screams"(You die) I thought this was an amazing coincidence. I went to see them four days before AC2 came out.
