The goal for the first clip is to kill all the guards in the area before taking out the target. You cant be alerted or you will fail the mission. I use a new blend I call Power Blending, its essentially Superblending but instead of climbing around you assassinate guards right in front of others without being seen, as you can see I can take on groups of 4 head on without being spotted.
The second clip is a Mysterious Death, the goal is to poison the doctor without being seen at all by anyone, not even the yellow arrows above their heads. It took a lot of work but if you stand above the restricted building, there are certain points where the doctor will finish his line and go into the building. You must time all of the patrols in the area perfectly in order to get this to work
Wow, that was impressive; ironic for the the doctor to die silently by the means in which he heals. The hidden gun is useful though the ammo capacity is too low, nice use of Ezio's equipment. Though when on rooftops you only fast walk through archers, doesn't that take long? I hated that new change in AC2, always slowing down on roofs and even when there were no brick panels on the roof they could still hear you running. Just 2 share a secret, after extensive "messing around" I found, though not probably the 1st, that if you approach an archer you could essentially tap the legs and high profile buttons to jump. Doing this in continuous succession is faster than speed walking and closes distance without the dang archers turning around. The archers for some unprogramed reason respond only to running and sprinting; thus hopping toward him allows you to do a close in quickly, quietly, and stealthily put your victim to "sleep" .
Anyway, your recent work work is interesting I look forward to seeing more what you have up your sleeve Jack-Reacher.
very nicely done, especially the mysterious death. ive been in similar situations where timing the patrols is critical, and those missions can be especially difficult to design.
what i have like to see in the mysterious death is a more thorough escape. as a matter of personal taste, i think a mysterious death should involve both sneaking in and sneaking out. i dont think it would have been difficult to add the escape in either this vid or your last one on last rites.
once again, grt job. cant wait to see more from you.
Thanks for that tip, some reason I assumed they would hear me when I landed the jump, that should help speed things up in later videos.
You wont believe how long it took to get this mysterious death perfect. You gotta get the seekers timing correctly, the 2 agile guards timing in the courtyard, the archer on the roof, and 2 seperate patrols. The success of the mission depended on exactly when I triggered the doctors speech, and the speed at which I ran to the spot. Every animation had to be done perfectly, so when I actually did it right I didnt wanna risk leaving that seat lol.
For the first part of the video, did you have SSI turned off under HUD options? At 2:52 and again at 4:01 I heard a beep but didn't see a yellow arrow.
Yup I turned everything off for cinematic purposes, the goal wasnt to go fully silent ( no arrows) that would drive me insane, the point was really to show how you can superblend and take guards out at the same time, like with the 3rd group i take out
Edit: did anyone like the blood splatter on the very first kill? When I replay this mission enough times the blood splatter goes mental, sometimes all over the place from these two guards
It is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
Also yes, it was an awesome blood splatter and I can't believe I just said that.
All I tried to do was take out all of the archers and the guards inside the restricted building. I never found a way to get anyone on the ground. Great job!

hahaha! thats awesome! thats a lot to time correctly! the most critical timing for a mysterious death for me was the one on stefano da bagnone, which I originally (and idiotically) said should be "trivial." there were 3 patrols inside the courtyard, 1 outside, the target, his bodyguard, and a group of wandering civilians to blend with. it was frustrating as hell, and the "worst" part was that the video made it look much easier than it really was - so i can relate well to your video. thanks for taking the time to explain all the restrictions. once again, grt job.
Yeah thanks, when I watched it myself I was like eh all I do is run straight to the target really. The hard part was not only did I have to get the timing of the speech trigger right, but each part of the route had to be done at a specific speed. I would have to sprint at one point to dodge one patrol, but slow down at another to make sure I didnt bump into the seeker. Anyway I hope you like Arch Enemies, I flee the area in that video, although I think the whole superblend thing may have been unnecessary, but it helped get the timing right.
