Really enjoyable 3-hour stabby chat today. It was stab, Osoezttneesfnen, sync, Rob, and a special guest. Very interesting discussion with the special guest regarding the story-telling aspects of the AC series, its virtues and flaws (mainly flaws). That's a clue, in case anyone is interested in guessing.

Also, we found out that Stab is in possession of the most awesome artifact in the history of the world. Piece of Eden? Pshaw. This is WAY better.

Ha ha. Here's a picture of two souvenirs from my recent trip. Lisa covets the Sex Pistols lunchbox I found in Seattle. I got the belt buckle at the weekly craft fair in Portland, Oregon. It's made entirely from recycled bicycle parts.

If I might make a suggestion. Would the last week of October be a good time? I should be able to make it, and it's the week AC3 comes out.

We'll see. I'm pretty busy with work for the next four weeks and may not be able to do a stabby chat. Maybe I can swing a weekend date before October 30. It wouldn't make sense to do one right after the release because people will be playing AC3 then.

I'm glad I was able to make to chat for a bit. Here is how I got off of work: First I used a broken timeline to buy me some time. Then I stealthily sneaked behind my fellow coworkers and sprinted to my hideout, where my recruits sent messages via carrier pigeons. In other words, I took a lunch about the time chat started. Then (after using the restroom), I ran to a nearby library. I was in chat for nearly forty minutes (mission accomplished ). I didn't even eat until after chat. Too bad I couldn't stay the whole time. I had thought of a stage name for myself, but we'll discuss that next chat. Right as I was leaving, Stabguy mentioned a guest coming in the next hour. Anyone know who that was?

Those of you who were in chat know the question was whether he had been to Portland, Oregon before (that is where the artifact is hidden, it must be there).

So Joeyfogey was too busy with women providing much distraction and Mcstab decided not to live dangerously. You're both off the hook, this time. The rest of you, however, are all without excuse. The only ones in chat were Stabguy, Lisamurphy, and of course me. And since neither Lisa or I had AC4, we were the ones who had to worry about Stabguy spoiling the game for us.

Hey! I was out of town, in Marburg. I organized a mathematics tournament and this was the prize for 3rd place. Someone needed to go, nobody else wanted to, and my old high school won. So I had plenty reason not to be there! I even said beforehand I wouldn't be able to make it.

It was in 4:00 am in my country! You know how much I wanted to be in it?? But obviously not enough to want to get on 4:00 am!

To be fair, my wife had issues all week and we had to take her to the hospital Saturday morning... so I may have been a little distracted with other things.
