Guys, I'd like to discuss about the speed glitch, like in this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOL3UvFr1e4
I know it can also happen in AC1 and ACB. Do any of you know how to trigger that?
It looks like something that's really hard to replicate. I'd ask AKHeon, he's good at figuring out that kind of stuff.

Done.
Also, about the glitch: it happened to me once, and Ezio was catching the edges in a very strange manner. I don't know what was the trigger though.
Edit: there are dozens of videos with this glitch. It seems to happen quite rarily but still. I'm going to mess around with climbing and see what I can find.
I wish I knew how this glitch was done, but unfortunately it's never happened to me. I've also researched the multitudes of Youtube-vids featuring the glitch... No one seems to know how to reproduce it, but apparently it doesn't take anything else than just climbing around the place. Maybe scathing a certain piece of collision in a certain way?
I've always thought that the glitch is something that happens in ACII, ACB and ACR. Didn't think it was in ACI? The only speed glitch I've seen in ACI was something completely unrelated, caused by going out of bounds sojourning in Arsuf.
Yes, maybe it's only in Ezio's trilogy.
Can you tell anything more about your speed glitch? What location were you in when it occurred, and did you do anything special at the time?
You mean mine? I don't remember anything particular, except it was in Venice.
Hey, after all the years of playing this series, the speed glitch happened to me, and I got it on tape too. Not sure if the trigger is in the tackle or something subtler before the tackle. If you want, I could upload a version that shows a few minutes before the speed glitch actually starts.
So this glitch has definitely something to do with grabbing people... I have to study this.
Here's a full version that also shows three minutes before the start of the glitch:

We still don't really know what is the trigger for speed glitch, but maybe this new data can help pinpoint it. I've never seen any strange effects from doing a tackle before. I'm thinking the real cause is probably something subtler...
(Slightly off-topic. Another rare, subtle effect I've seen happen is that pole glitch starts working in AC: B like it does in Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 - i.e. Ezio doesn't fall down after he passes the edge of the pole and turns around. That also might be an useful glitch if it could be done at will, since it would mean longer jumps from poles, and possibly signify other changes inside the game and the game's gravity as well. I've seen this happen twice so far.)
