I'm worried. Hopefully it will be as good as revelation's soundtrack. I don't know if the music during that era would necessarily fit a assassin's creed game. Anyone understand where I'm coming from? I have confidence in jesper kyd.
I think they may mix it up with some native American and American music. That would be interesting to hear.
Anyone got any predictions /early thoughts on the soundtrack .
They NEVER have a soundtrack that is literally just music from the era.
Jesper Kyd takes some inspiration from period compositions and instruments, and then gives it an animus remix. And it always sounds fucking great.
Seriously, of all the things to worry about, I think you can chill on the music.
As long as Jesper Kyd does it, it's going to be awesome. Not too sure about Lorne Balfe, though.
probobly it is going to be a mix between ac2 and red dead redemption

Pretty much my thoughts.
I actually thought ACR's soundtrack was the best part of the game. I'm sure AC3's will be epic.
In the First video that EA posted, go to the Minute 1:16. It gave me chills, Jesper Kyd is amazing.
I'm really hoping for a Mix of Native American Music with some kind of different music, Jesper Kyd is really great, i'm sure he'll do a good job.
An example of the "mix" i am talking about is on the E3 Cinematic Soundtrack. Go to the Minute 0:30 and hear until it reaches 0:50. Pay attention at the sound, this is what i'm talking about.
I actually don't think that any of the AC3 music we've seen so far is done by Jesper. It seems Hans Zimmer has taken over. I can understand Jesper wanting to take a break after 4 games, 3 right after each other. I actually liked Hans's music in Revelations more than Jesper's. (heresy, I know) It fits the kind of story that AC has become. AC1 was more brooding and AC2 was a bright and shiny adventure. Revelations had a different kind of tone to it, which seems to have been expanded upon for AC3. A guy who does film scores seems more suited to it than Jesper now.
I'm impressed at how non-generic/hollywood the Hans music we've heard so far sounds. Listening to modern warfare's soundtrack I'd think he's the last person who could make a hybrid period music soundtrack.
I didn't knew that Hans did some of Revelations Soundtrack.
I Agree, Hans is just as great ad Jesper.
Yeah, Hans and Lorne Balfe did all of the music that's in cutscenes, as well as the multiplayer music. The first volume of the ACR soundtrack is Jesper, the last two is Hans and Lorne.
