for people who had watched SMALLVILLE from season 1 to 10
i only watched 1 episode like ever only because did'nt like it but was interested because it was about superman befor he got the name
i watched every episode it got very interesting but i wanted it to have an 11th season
If they had an 11th season, it would just be Superman, not the development OF Superman. The whole point of the show was to tell how he was shaped into the icon.
I watched seasons 1-9 if i watched 10 i don't remember but i thought it was a great series.
Joey is right though. The whole purpose of small ville is to show how superman was Before he
became superman. But i do agree with you doomkiller i want an 11th season xD there great
yeah the guy that played clark kent (tom welling) has a show called hellcats got kicked out from the CW channel because tom welling wouldn't do a 11th season

The producers were ending it. Tom Welling never just quit, his contract was up. And the story wouldn't fit into the theme of the show if they continued.
To me, it just went downhill after the black guy left. The show just became a series of senseless events.

To be honest, I never got pulled in to the show. I watched when I was little when it started, but that was only the first season. After that, I only tuned in whenever I heard a cool character (like Hawkman) was going to be appearing. The Bizarro episode was just silly. Nothing like the actual character.
No loss for me.

i only watched the last season of smalvile but i thought it was stupid that there was nooshot of superman in his suit you only saw a bit of the suit

Test screenings didn't go well. Before a show airs to the public, a test audience gets to see the first finished episode. Mixed reviews and negative fan feedback of her outfit before she got the blue pants made the producers shut it down.

I think he meant Pete Ross, Clark's sidekick in high school. He left during the 3rd season if I recall correctly.
To me the best characters were the Luthors. From the false father/son relationship Lex had with Lionel to the friendship slowly turning into enmity between Lex and Clark, they always had interesting dialogues. They were cool. (:

For some reason only a few characters in Smallville look like their Marvel counterpart. Pete definitely wasn't one of them.
I think the show wasn't intended to be faithful to the comics, but rather a different story based on the original, with some references from time to time.

Except it's much more dramatic than that. Clark soars into the sky, tears the side door off the airplane, and levitates the crystal into his hand.

It's only supposed to be talking about how he BECAME Superman. Superman doesn't do much in Smallville (the down), he does all his work in Metropolis (the city). The title of the show indicates that he isn't Superman. He's Clark Kent, learning how to utilize his powers. In the end, he moved on to fulfill that title, therefore ending the series.

Yes, but this website is mainly for AC. That's the reason members have come here and joined. I am presuming that is the same reason that you came here and joined. Other topics come up in conversation, because that is just the way of conversations. Members who contribute substantially to AC topics are allowed much more leeway in going off-topic.
But you, DK119, aren't addressing the main topic - AC - hardly at all. Please rectify this. You haven't yet earned your Medici Cape.

In fact, it would be much better if you did this. Just a simple opinion or comment on a few of the AC threads would suffice. At the moment, you're just creating lots of new threads that provoke not conversation but arguments and complaining. The whole "For anyone who..." and overuse of capital letters is rather annoying too (failing badly here at not being a grammar Nazi but w/e).

i liked it at the very end of the part 2 of the series finale when clark goes on the top of the daily planet he rips open his shirt and shows the superman suit while the superman theme is playing
