Well, I played AC III that day, and suddenly something strange happened: I think I leaned on my controller (I'm on PS3) and pressed different combinations of buttons, and then the game was just slow-motion,
There has been some talk about this glitch elsewhere on the web. One guy says he knows how to reproduce it:
1. Do an air assassination or something that causes a temporary slow motion effect.
2. During the slow motion scene, press the pause button.
3. Resume the game. It will finish the scene and remain in slow motion.
To fix the glitch without exiting the game, try fast traveling somewhere.
Thats what I thought I did, but I wasn't sure. I played some time with the glitch and it was freaking awesome, but it was very slow for some reason.
While in slow motion, can you use tools/change your weapon/etc?
You can do everything that you could do in regular motion, there is no difference exept for the motion.

Does anyone know what happens to cutscenes and after cutscenes if this glitch is in effect?
If you are slow motion and start a mission, does the cutscene reset the slow-motion glitch? Does entering a building reset it?

Judging by the amount of questions, you're planning something.
Just wondering how far we can push it...
Wouldn't it be funny if we could get the game INTO slow motion before sequence 8, and it STAYS in slow-mo through everything in the prison and when you need to get Hickey, it's 1 - no longer slow-mo, or 2 - double slow-mo. hahaha
I have something else planned, but not related to this.
I think I'll try this next time I play

Speaking of Hickey...
During the assassination, if you interact with the viewpoint it's really slow. Plus the audio is out of synch.
I suppose you want to know how I managed to pull that off without Washington or Hickey dying first.

No. Not at all... </sarcasm>
I'm sure you'll tell us your ways eventually.

JoeyFogey showed us one trick to stall Hickey.

I actually forgot I did this. I thought you were mistaken until I saw the video again.
Okay, here's my way. Allow Hickey to kill off Washington's bodyguards. But don't let him kill Washington of course. The way I did that is I put myself between them. Also kill any enemies attacking you. Then engage Hickey in combat by either tackling or breaking defense. When he comes after you, hide in the haystack behind the building where Washington is. After being anonymous, Hickey is now turkey shooted. He won't react to you in any way, not even if you tackle or steal from him.
I did consider making a mini variety pack from this, including an eagle strike, but I did want to get back to the older games (plus the PS3 stopped working). So if anyone wants to make the variety pack, go ahead. Just ask first and I'll tell you what else I planned to do.
