Nice video! I like the new game mode.
Do you use the grab trick to get down from the bureau roof quickly?
Also, the save citizen guard says "Go away, beggar," but it's in German.
The other guard says something like: "He's too fast, that idiot," but that's in French. He's actually calling you stupid!
And, finally, the escape wasn't really lucky. Spots like those usually lead to a haystack.
Yea, it's the grab move. My favorite move of the game, actually. A very elegant way of getting down from a higher rooftop.
I just checked it with the informed guard patrol at the main mosque in Jubair's district, and it works there too. Two commanders plus six sergeants walking around randomly in Damascus in an informed state. Amazing.
Yeah, this should get frontpaged!
Haha! Very nice video. I particularly like your random comments and annotations
What happens when you kill the leader with a throwing knife from afar, so that you remain anonymous, you may ask? Well, they turn back into a normal, chatty patrol, but if they are too far away from their original path, they can't move, and turn into a living roadblock.
Superb video, and the annotations were great aswell
I recorded some demo runs with the guard patrol at the Main Mosque.
Episode one, in which Altair is discovered, comes eye to eye with the enemy, and seeks refuge at the marketplace:

This is pure genious I'd love to try and practise this in Acre, hopefully I can become exposed long enough for the guards to follow me the to the roof of the bearu and then when Altiar status goes back to normal, the guards will just drop through the roof!
"As you wish".
You could've gone left when getting down from the roof on the end, and you'd have ended up directly in front of a bench.
Episode Two, in which Altair visits the northern madrasah, and gives a lesson in the second tenet:

Yea, but the guards go round that way at this building, so this way I could avoid running into them.
Noooo just kidding! Sometimes I don't even notice a hiding place that's right in front of me, especially when I already have an other one in mind.
Yeah, that happens to me a lot as well.
I just happen to know the Damascus Poor district really well.
Me too. It's my favorite. Especially because I know it that well. I am planning to make a video just about the southwestern alleyways, with all of the really efficient vertical paths and hiding spots.
Well, it's not my favourite because it's a very easy district, no real challenges. It is home to a great escape route, though, next to the river.

Yea, there's a similar reason to why it is my favorite: the rest are too difficult. Actually, I like that I know it so much because knowing the district makes it easier to manage the missions. But I am still far from feeling like I perfectly mastered rank 1, poor district, damascus. One of my main weaknesses is that I still cannot make sure not to get into a situation when I get attacked while I am attacking, and thus I get hit. But these superpatrol missions are very good training. I think I managed to get a better grip on how to manage the moments when I don't have a weapon drawn, but guards are right next to me. I used to try to quickly draw my sword by pressing the lock on button, but now I see that it's better to try to avoid the hits without locking on.
Episode Three, in which Altair botches it again, a templar gets involved, and a commander gets missing, but is later found:

Episode Four, in which Altair visits the hospital, but nobody gets well.

In general, I prefer escaping over fighting. I still get hit sometimes while fighting, so yeah. Escaping is much easier.
That must've hurt in episode 3 at 3:10! Also, nice find in episode 4 at 4:20. Did you already know that was there?
4:20?
Escaping is much easier.
I often find it harder to exit a fight without getting hit than finishing it. Especially when I have to move away from the opponent, as opposed to running through between them.
2:40, it was.
I don't know, I've developed some skill in weaving between masses guards while recording footage for an upcoming vid.
2:40, it was.
Well, one of the guard patrols does its rounds right there, in the hospital and in front of its entrance. And when I checked them for the sheep glich, that climb to that roof garden proved to be a very good chase breaker. They have to make a big detour to get up there. That's how I knew about it.
The problem is that they dont respawn as readily as the ones I use for these videos.
Episode Five, in which Altair makes up in hidden blade counters for what he lacks in stealth:

Episode Six, in which Altair jumps out from a hay cart, runs a lot, and then punishes his pursuers from behind:

Episode Seven, which is a two-part finale.
First, Altair can't count to four, has to hide, and finishes with a combo.
Then, Altair comes from above, and disappears down below.

Excellent use of the environment I just think combo kills in AC are stunning to watch.
