After downloading the DLC pack, if you load a completed game save (post-end credits) the game takes you immediately back into the memory corridor, but this time with Ezio instead of Desmond. Oddly enough, you can use your hidden blades and jump and everything during this memory corridor sequence.

You first hear Rebecca say "Sweet! I was able to recover the memory data." She then explains to Desmond how she fixed it and there's the expected quip from Shaun during the short discussion. Then you appear in Romagna near the boat to Venice.

You now have two new icons on the map. The first is the Assassin logo, like you normally have for the tombs, but mostly white (essentially a negative of the normal icon). This icon is labeled "Special Memory". It's over the north-eastern tower. Climb to the top of the tower and opposite the viewpoint is a white circle. Step inside to climb into the Flying Machine and start a flight over Romagna. There are fires all over and guards here and there. Head into the city if you want to find larger numbers of guards. You can press the [Empty Hand] button at any time to abandon the flight sequence, or simply crash and you will appear in that very spot after a quick load sequence.

The other new icon is a negative (mostly white) of the standard mission icon, the exclamation mark. It is labeled "Repaired Memory".

You immediately get a bit of data on the left side of the screen (below the health bar) giving a very brief reminder of what had happened at the end of Sequence 11.

Stepping into the white circle (which is represented on the map by the "Repaired Memory" icon) initiates a cutscene. This is not the first memory/mission, however. The cutscene is short, but it includes Mario inviting Leonardo to come stay at the villa, which we see Leonardo at later on. Nice touch. Smile

Once the cutscene is over, you appear in Romagna again and Caterina is standing up ahead of you. Approach her and press the Head button button to initate the first memory of Sequence 12.

I'll leave it at that. I just wanted to give a quick rundown of what to expect when loading this up from a completed game save. When completing Sequence 11 normally, you will simply move automatically into Sequence 12 as if it had always been there. You do not appear first in Romagna – you are simply taken right into the cutscene mentioned above.

Oh, and for the record, in the DNA menu Sequence 12 is called "Forlì Under Attack".

Replaying is still a no go, right?

Correct. I imagine they would be waiting until the next DLC so that the entire DNA sequence is complete before allowing us to go back and replay stuff.

I'd imagine that's whats going to happen as well.

I just completed the Battle of Forli... it ended quite abruptly. Seems Sequence 13 starts exactly where 12 ends.

I just finished it as well, I liked it. Though I wish I didn't have to wait another month for the next DLC. How come they couldn't release them both at the same time, or just a few days apart?

It started getting really good at the end, and then... it's over. Sad

Starting a new game won't change anything. It sounds like there was either an install problem or you're facing a regional incompatibility. Are your game and your download from the same region? You can install DLC from any region, but it must be the exact same region that the game is from in order to work with it.

If they are from the same region, there's some other issue going on. Are you on PS3? PS3 had a lot of issues with the DLC not working properly.

Try re-downloading the DLC and then maybe turn off and turn back on your console afterward. Then boot up your save in AC2 and see if it auto-loads the DLC for you. If it works, it will happen immediately upon loading into the game. If nothing happens immediately, something's wrong and you should contact Ubisoft Customer Support.

I will re install the DLCand see if that works, im on a PS3

Edit- Great, checked the back. I have heard a lot fo people moaning about glitches and freezes and i feel very lucky not to experience any of this after a long amount of time, especially since the game is second hand. Well it says it is the USA version, im from New Zealand so i guess il have to make a NA PSN and DL from there again...

Unfortunately, that is correct. Region encoding is a huge pain.

i just realised i cant just go make a US PSN, i dont have the right credit card. Instead of making my DLC a waste of money and buying a new one, il get the next DLC as well. Then il rent AC from my video store and quickly play both of them, i heard they arent that long anyway
