why is getting the seals BORING ><
...moving on to a forum that matters...
its not...
If you are replaying the game the idea of having to go back and get them is kinda daunting. However when actually going through one of the tombs I have done for the billionth time, time seems to pass really fast. I guess its because you are constantly thinking oabout where to jump and you are always concentrating on the next jump, unless you keep failing it isnt that boring
To me it feels like a different genre. "Platforming" it's called, I heard.
For me, personally (to answer the question) it is boring because it's the story, the life-like context that makes AC involving. Platforming on the other hand is just jumping around for the sake of jumping around. The puzzles are put there for me to solve. That's not very realistic, and as a consequence I cannot relate it to the imaginary world, and so it is not involving for me at all. It hasn't got anything to do with anything.
yh i agree
The seals aren't that boring since it's one part of the game that's actually challenging.

Exactly. Falling off the same ledge several times or getting stuck clinging to a wall for ages is frustrating but this means there is greater satisfaction when you find the right path.
Frustrating and boring are different. Parts of the Assassin's Tombs can be frustrating and repetitive if you keep messing up (as I did) but overall I think the Assassin's Tombs are the best part of the game
There are three types of people who'd think this was boring: players who are too good at this game, players who don't respect the game enough, and players who can't beat one tomb.
hmmm if i had to pick one of them it would be because im to good at the game
I wish there were MORE tombs to explore in AC2 because of how fun the platforming is. I've the Assassin Tombs, and Templar Lairs, so many times that it's become an art form.
I don't run through the tombs with the goal of getting the armor either. Actually sometimes if i'm just replaying for the story i'll skip the tombs all together(i find it more fun to playthrough the game with out full armor).
