The demo for Assassins Creed Liberation consists of one mission: Rotten Barracks, in which you assassinate a recruiter, loot him, and escape the area. From what I've experienced so far, the game looks like a worthy buy.
Completely Stealthy Pacifist Run
My best attempt at ghosting the mission. The part of the area with the least amount of guards looks to be at the Northeast corner, so we'll head of over there. The reason I take to the roofs at one part on my way there is to avoid a guard patrol around there.
The only guard you'll run into is a rooftop gunman. to avoid him, wait till he walks the other way and fast walk to the edge of the roof to quickly drop. From here you can start the scene by locating the target with eagle vision.
At ground level wait at the corner to avoid being seen while waiting for the target. When he arrives, knock him out by where you'll climb up to escape, The reason I didn't do a corner kill is because I would've gotten detected by a nearby guard while trying to loot the recruiter.
Notice how two guards walked into the area shortly after I kill him. The game makes it so they know he's dead, since he wasn't in there line of sight. That scripting is the only hindrance in this possible ghost run.
Now just escape the way you came and you've beaten the mission with no detect meters.
Early Death Collection
Here are some ways to kill the target before you were intended to. First understand how the scene is activated. It starts when you locate the target, either by him showing up in eagle vision, or being on screen when you are close enough to target him, or if he should happen to die, or (not shown) if you berserk a guard so that the target is in combat.
In my first example I face away from him, jump from thee roof, and assassinate him with the hidden blade. This causes him to be killed standing up, with no possibility of being looted or killed. He stops when he reaches the top of the stairs. You'll have to restart in order to progress.
Next you can air assassinate him from the nearby roof as long as the camera can't see him. Just run to the edge of the roof and mash .
The thing about darts in this game is that you don't have to point the cross hair right at a character to target them. This works to your advantage since you can use that to shoot the target without starting the scene beforehand.
So aim until the target is highlighted. Remember not to put the cross hair on him. When he is highlighted you can shoot. The fast poison kills him during the scene, while the berserk poison causes him to flail around without attacking anyone. When that is over, he teleports to the waypoint at the top of the stairs, unharmed.
haha. I remember this game. I'm glad to see someone else playing it. I think I wrote a post about the main game borrowing things from Liberation.
I like the whip grapple ability more than the Batman grapple gun that Jacob and Evie have strapped to their wrist.
Here is the post I was referring to if you want to give it another look now that you're playing the game R.L.L. Cool J.

What was Ubisoft thinking? That cutscene at 1:27 looks like the firing squad is competing in a synchronized circle jerk.
but stabguy, a circle jerk is necessarily not ... self inflicted... I mean, it's in the name, sorta.
spoiler for nsfw content - nothing too bad, just not fully sfw...
unless of course you mean they should be sitting in a circle around a campfire or something...
We all know what circle jerk means...
