Recording footage while connected to beamer
I've been trying to record game footage while playing with a beamer/projector. I'm using a harddisk recorder
(RH188S LG) as the medium, connecting my PS3 to it, and it to the beamer. This same setup worked on my tv, but now it does not work. The beamer has no SCART connection.
- PS3 +[Video-scart adapter]+ Recorder +[SCART cable]+ TV = Visual ok, audio ok
- PS3 +[Video-scart adapter]+ Recorder +[Yellow video cable]+ Beamer = No Visual, audio not tested
The beamer does show visual when connected directly to the PS3 with a HDMI cable, just not when the signal goes through the recorder.
Any advice would be welcome.
Maybe the Recorder can't downconvert from SCART to Composite (i.e. yellow video cable). Can you run Composite from the PS3 to the Recorder's input?
