Question about leveling Assassin Recruits
I've been wondering, do your recruits have to be fully upgraded before they're promoted to the rank of Assassin? I like the meta-game of leveling up your recruits but i hate how when they reach max rank you loose the ability to customize them.
Has anyone tried just leveling up your recruits to the max rank but not upgrade their equipment so they don't get promoted?
Yes, you have to spend the skill points in order for their level-up to count, otherwise they remain at the previous level (and will affect mission success percentages accordingly).

Yes, their health when summoned and their mission success contributions are higher after graduating.
It's a shame you can't customize the color of your recruits' robes after they graduate to master assassin.
Cannot change colors after they graduate that is not fair, but I always choose wetland ebony for my assassins so that is no problem for me 
However I do not like how the final weapon upgrade is axe, to me that seems cumbersome you should get to choose something stealthy if you want like poison dart or giving them smoke bombs 
well.... when they reached level 9 they have many usefull weapons and equipment and they are almost to professional for being recruits, but after 2 of my recruits (max. amount is 12) reached assassino rank i was really impressed about their skill, they can easily take out a group of about 8 guards (at least 8 guards) while not loosing any health so you almost dont need to woory about them.... sry for my bad english ;-;
