This video shows how to pick out your target in manhunt without any abilities, or just score really well. The first half I show you lots of tricks used and such, the second half is me owning a bunch of morons.
Firstly I show my trick where I lose the contract on purpose. Now try lock onto the morph group, you will be able to lock onto everyone but your target. Once you get the contract back, lock on and maybe go for an aerial kill as you would have given yourself away. I use this twice on Florence to find my target
1:04- The next part is simply watch out for strange group behavior. If you see an NPC leave the group but he doesn't gentle push the guy out of the way, it is a player. That's how I knew which one the mercenary was. Also look at their positioning, if they screwed up and make little adjustments you know who they are, or if they aren''t even looking the right way thats them.
1:36- When playing with randoms lock onto someone random in the group. Chances are the greedy bastard will try and steal your kill. As punishment it will often be an NPC, and he gets stunned, giving you an easy incognito kill. If not hey you got 50 points for great teamwork!
2:20 - Use obstacles in between you and your targets group to make the compass go dim, this way you can figure out which target you really have.
2:50- Stun locking, when you get stunned lock onto his partner and mash square to kill him, you may have enough time to kill the other guy as well
4:42- See them running towards you, climb up to dodge their attacks. I then use the haystack so that I can kill them without his partner stunning me afterwards, worked perfectly for two kills then someone I attacked some random guy... I think my partner killed him before I attacked so I instantly attack a civy
Finally at the end, know when to give up. This last part is so important, if you are surrounded press triangle so you dont end up like those morons in my other videos
I've been meaning to try this. I'll probably try to use some tricks of yours to make it more fun. Otherwise it would get too frustrating as I hide in groups and never try to run (unless there are runners taking up most of the player slots in the session; then I HAVE to sprint!)
Works best in manhunt, i cant imagine how frustrating this could be in wanted
Maybe that's why I got so frustrated. I kept trying it in Wanted. XD
I just did this in Adv. Wanted. It was really hard, but I managed to come out 2nd. You just need to be incredibly careful and run nearly everywhere.
