If you havent completed Ac3's storyline, this topic will heavily go off the ending of the game. So scurry along..finish the game
Alrighty. So for the ones who completed the game, we all know juno has been unleashed upon humanity. So is there anyone who can stop her? How will the animus be incorperated? Will our next protagonist have to travel back to the first civilization in the animus to find a way to defeat juno?
You gotta love Ac endings. Leaving you with more questions than awnsers...ah i love this franchise..
Anyway..disscus..like we normally do.
Seeing as how some people are still confused about the "Eve" to Desmond's "Adam" (including myself), I bet "Eve" will be the new modern day (assuming a female) main character. And this time, we'll have female ancestors in places such as Victorian England and possibly a French setting.
The new trilogy will circle back around to AC3's ending where we interact with the Temple, attempting to trap Juno again after she's taken control over humanity. Desmond may be a supportive role if he's still alive in the Temple (I'm thinking he's trapped there like Juno was).
We might see a Templar/Assassin team-up at some point to stop Juno, as a lot of these ideas were hinted at throughout AC3's story.
I'm sure Shaun, Rebecca, and William will return, since they have the experience of this sort of thing under their belts.
These are all just ideas and theories, of course.
In the next AC game the modern day protagonist will definitely...
Joey, love it. It would be great to play as a girl assassin. Not for any pervert reasons of course, just be a nice change.
Aurll,i'm sure your right. Ac games are really fun if you just don't think a stab things.
Knowing Ubisoft, they'll probably milk the franchise for all its worth and continue to AC9.
Most likely, they'll bring another Subject along for the Animus. We can travel to the 1st Civilization, Stone Ages, or perhaps the Roman Empire.
I'm so down for travelling to 1st Civ. Shaun suggested it in AC3 and it never happened for obvious reasons.
Single most interested-in time period right now.
I had heard a rumor on Youtube that Ubisoft had confirmed two more games for Connor.
"Desmond's body is dead but his mind will be in the animus. He will be trapped there like in Revelations expect no coma. The precursors talked about transferring minds and this is what Desmond will do. He will play as an older Connor entering the French Revolution killing the Templars and taking the Apple of Eden from Napoleon (like from the 16 puzzles) He then learns how Adam and Eve defeated the gods and will lead a rebellion against Juno and her slaves."
That's the first post. I guess it's just speculation. The second is where he states it's been confirmed. I posted to him, asking if he could link me up to where he got this info. I'd like to read into it myself.
"Ubisoft confirmed today they are making more "games". Possibly two more to give Connor a better story setback. It's most likely going to take place in the French Revolution because it takes place in 1789 so Connor will be 33 years old. It's likely we will see King Louis XVI, Maximilien Robespierre, and Napoleon Bonaparte. You get to see Napolean carrying the apple in one of Subject 16's puzzles. Juno said his journey is not over so get your wallet ready and start saving!"
As for the future of AC, I'm hoping there will be more games and having Desmond "die" at the end felt like a bummer. For that matter, how do we know Desmond is actually gone? I think Minerva stated that Desmond would die. She could have just meant a physical death. Desmond could be trapped in the temple walls for all we know so in a way he's not actually dead.
So we may see Dante and the french national day battle, too... Interesting.
