Maybe the final gate is S16's memories. That's where his essence was sent to. That's how we find out what happened before AC1. We play as Clay, or at least see what happened.

Wow! So Lucy really is a Templar? Does that mean Absergo's brainwashing technique completly negates Desmond's Eagle Vision?

I didn't see the video before it was taken down so pardon me if i'm still a bit suspicious. For Ubisoft to kill off such a beloved character because she's a templar and to only to reveal the truth in DLC just makes me angry. All that character development between Lucy and Desmond and for what?

Hopefully the DLC will explain how she got brainwashed by Abstergo(she WAS trained as an Assassin, that much is clear).

I ended up buying the DLC (refunds) and There's no story to it. It's just bonus maps and Templar profile items. I don't know what this thread is really about. :/

Apparently whatever was in that video was ripped from the PC version maybe it's to be included in a different DLC.

it was real the voices were EXACTLY the same from the game but i know none of the lines were said in any of the releases why else would it be taken down its from the FUTURE DLC that will be released later on in the year not in any of the current DLCs im assuming its in the Desmond journey area where the 6th gate is repaired after you beat the game but you still cant enter it i assure you its real youtube bringing it down is sufficient proof the wouldn't just take it down if it was fan-made in witch case would be imposable unless this guy hired all the original VAs and asked them to say what they said but sadly you cant see the proof unless you watched it :/

I am still conflicted. The voices were real. The video was pulled. But a part of me still has my fingers crossed and my soul hoping that it's not true. I just beat Uncharted 3 and I'm just like "This is so beautiful!" to everything that happens. Wow, that was totally unrelated at all..

I haven't heard about any DLC after the Mediterranean pack. They seemed to let those out almost immediately. But now it's just silent and everyone's thinking about AC3.

sometimes it takes a while to get DLC thats a given but i KNOW this is real cause why else dose it say ubisoft pulled this down why would they do that cause its real also the vid was almost 16 mins long if it was a fake why the heck would make a 16 min long fake dialog reel with every voice perfect talking about stuff that you couldnt possibly know about in dialog not previously heard in any of the ac games released yet

What the hell? This seems like singleplayer DLC. Which I'm okay with, since the story was short.

Interesting. I got a possible release date from one of my friends on youtube,also a big AC fan. We might see a DLC release on March 16th.

I don't think it's too much. If it's a quarter of a full game, then that should be fine.
Looking at the Trophs/Achievs, it looks like a full mini campaign which is pretty awesome.
This is the kind of DLC that I want, not the lame "get extra characters/weapons/maps."

I think add ons like this should NEVER go beyond $5. It's an add on to a game we paid lots of money for already, not an indie game. I might have to look up feedback about it before I buy it and see if it's worth it. Usually we get a certain percentage off a month or two later. We might get that with this.
